Ablett, Wines, Bartel, Rockliff, Sloane. Cursed in midfield this year.
Injured as in missed games? Or just injured enough to be out of form for a significant amount of time?Lets play a game, name the players in your side that haven't been injured.
Nutnut and Shaw are massive standouts for me, anyone else?
Players that haven't missed a game all season, Shaw and Nutnut COULD go through this season without missing a game, that would turn the world on its head.Injured as in missed games? Or just injured enough to be out of form for a significant amount of time?
Hmmm, guys I've had from the start that haven't missed a game for me:Players that haven't missed a game all season, Shaw and Nutnut COULD go through this season without missing a game, that would turn the world on its head.
Theres 2 that had question marks over there heads at the start of the season,Hmmm, guys I've had from the start that haven't missed a game for me:
Shaw
Dusty
Goldy
Fyfe
Beams
I'd be fairly confident that 4 of those 5 will play 22 games.

Bartels only a forward.![]()

EDIT: Make that haven't missed a game al year.

My question marks weren't over his injury history, but more towards his scoring ability. For the first 9 rounds or so I was super happy with my decision of Maric over NutNut, but they've both swung their form in the opposite directions and he's killing me now.

This sort of s*** makes me hate SuperCoach sometimes!!! I did the exact same thing. I know how you're feeling, Steven has been a top 10 midfielder and has made ten of thousands of dollars, while Griffen has been an average SC player and has lost quite a bit of cash. Oh, and Steven was about $50,000 cheaper than Griffo at the beginning of the seasonI just caught up on this thread as I haven't been on it for a couple of months. Awesome reading
Since we are at the pointy end of the year pre finals here's my list:
Round 1
Starting with these spuds:
- Griffen over Jack Steven due to bye structure. Never again - **** Griffen & **** the byes.
- Lamb over Lonie
- Will Minson: where do I start?
Not starting with
Robbie Gray - my secret shame!
Todd Goldstein
Round 3
GAJ > Jordan Lewis. Bald champ to balding campaigner. Should have gone to Gray.
Round 11
Bringing in Dumont over Boston due to bye structure. Again, **** the bye rounds.
I have no regrets starting R1 with Bartel and GAJ, nor bringing Rocky and Sloane in when they were dirt cheap.
I'll no doubt be in here again at some time soon![]()

It's cost you 50k not 210k, how much Goldy and Jacobs and has gone up or down in price is irrelevant because you're not trading them out.In the pre-season when I was building my team I had to decide between Goldstein and Jacobs. I chose Jacobs, mainly because of his superior "hitouts to advantage" numbers in 2014, because there was a change in SC scoring that aparently would benefit ruckman who got more hitouts to advantage, instead of just hitouts. I thought that paying the extra $50,000 for Jacobs would be the best option, as he would continue on with his 2014 form in being the best SC ruckman in the game and score me ~115 points a game.
Since the beginning of the season, Jacobs has lost 120k of value, and is averaging about 101 per game. On the other hand, Goldstein has increased in value by about 90k (by the end of this round he'll have shot up by around 110k), and will be averaging about 124.
So overall, that one decision has so far lost me $210,000 of cash, and left me with 23 points less every single game. This sort of s*** makes me hate SuperCoach sometimes!!!

Hey look big bootaaaaah, he grabbed his post from 24 hours ago and copy/pasted it. Talk about lazy.In the pre-season when I was building my team I had to decide between Goldstein and Jacobs. But that's not supercoaches fault.....that's yours![]()
how the f*** would you be able to predict that this situation would play out before the season had even started? If anything, you would put your money on Jacobs averaging higher than Goldstein. That's just common sense. Jacobs averaged 115 in 2014, whereas goldy was going at much less. Jacobs also got more hitouts to advantage than goldy in 2014. Please explain.
May as well copy/paste the whole convo.I started with Jacobs and traded him round 2 when I saw he was playing shit.
lol at least asho81 takes the time to rephrase his comments.Hey look big bootaaaaah, he grabbed his post from 24 hours ago and copy/pasted it. Talk about lazy.
A case of déjà vu.
well....it sorta is relevant. What if I wanted to trade in Goldy? And what if I wanted to trade out Jacobs to get him? It's cost you 50k not 210k, how much Goldy and Jacobs and has gone up or down in price is irrelevant because you're not trading them out.
