Yep, and we have nothing to lose anyway.
Carlton simply won't trade for him because they'd rather land him for free
But I reckon 2 seconds or 1 second and a player is a reasonable deal for both parties.
Hopefully, Carlisle nominates us as well. Because then I can't see Essendon dogging him twice!

I would hope we can get a pick in the around 10-15 and Carlisle for pick 5, but I can't see how that could happen

I love your enthusiasm in theory, and if either of those players would be guaranteed to come to our club next year, I would be blown away, but at the moment they are in contract, and the only one who is not is Carlisle.

I don't think we can afford to take the risk, on missing out on him, if he chooses us.

With regards to his salary, this administration is the best that we have had in a long time, and hopefully can get him for the right price.
