Fyfe,Mundy,Johnno all trained strongly. Pav,Luke,Zac and A Pearce in the gym on bikes.Barlow ,Spurr and Suban ran laps and then in the gym. ,Balla ,Mora and Luke ran yesterday .Mora also working in the gym.Really good news.
Long slick session this morning ,looking promising for Sun.On this mornings work out you would think Fyfe,Mundy and Johnno would be right to go.
Have to wait and see on Pav and Luke.

It does raise an interesting question - Do we insert Fyfe straight back into a midfield that has been functioning okay without him and see how he goes as a dedicated forward? I'd certainly have a look.

It does raise an interesting question - Do we insert Fyfe straight back into a midfield that has been functioning okay without him and see how he goes as a dedicated forward? I'd certainly have a look.

If Pav's out, I like the idea of bringing Fyfe in as a dedicated forward. It can ease him back into the game considering how long it's been since he's been able to run freely. And then if things aren't going well, throw him into the midfield to go nuts. Our midfield can keep doing what they're currently doing, and it means our forward line isn't made up of 2 young kids in Tabs & Alex

The midfield is building, just the one would be worried about is Priddis obviously. De boer should the perfect fit as a 'medium' tag would think?

Agreed. I really, really like the way our midfield are going about it at the moment... it would be a shame for them to subvert into their former Fyfe-conscious roles again - particularly guys like Barlow, Neale and Hill who we've been winning a super amount of the ball - even Suban's incorporating a bit of inside grunt. If Pav's fine I'd still let Fyfe hang off the shoulders of every available WCE defender and kick a bag.

I 100% agree, get Fyfe forward! I'd also debut Blakely even in the Vest over Weller this week, for more options through the inside there if it's tight later in the game.

yup. He is cooked. He was also taking a listed pain killer for his back which suggests he isn't exactly cherry ripe anyway.

If he's willing to take a rookie wage to 'pay back' the club for the year missed. I would delist him and relist as a rookie. Same with Morabito.

Then upgrade some rookies.

Can't move on too many players especially with potential retirements.

I love the guy as much as anyone on here but he's finished and the team has moved past him.
