That maybe the case but he is currently 180cm & 73kg going by his profile. That is smaller and lighter than C.Ellis, as I said IMO it's clear we need bigger bodied midfielders who can hold their own in a contest.

Apologies but I don't understand what you mean. We could trade our 2016 first round pick and if necessary our 2017 first round pick. Surely that would be enough to obtain a quality 'A grade' player.

Apologies but I don't understand what you mean. We could trade our 2016 first round pick and if necessary our 2017 first round pick. Surely that would be enough to obtain a quality 'A grade' player.

If we say had pick 5, a rival may offer say picks 11+ 16 in exchange for it. I don't believe we would swap a top 5 pick directly for a player

We have actually drafted mature body players, who haven't set the world on fire so I wouldn't necessarily go down that thinking.

Fair enough. If we did obtain a top 5 pick they might decide to keep it. I'm still thinking we'll play finals (or just miss) so I think we might get a similar first round pick as we have the last few years. If so then I think we'll trade it.

If this kid is a gun and we can't get him with our first pick, then trade to improve our position in the draft.
Seriously our first pick and Vickery or Ellis or somebody else for him. We should be trying to add quality A graders to our list at every opportunity.
Players like Vickery, Ellis etc aren't that difficult to replace.
