List Mgmt. 2016 Draft - It was on last Friday.

If SPP is there at 27, he's my first choice, but he won't be. Will go top 20.

I would not be unhappy with either of Sproule or Brennan Cox if we decide to go tall, or Willem Drew/Myles Poholke if we go mid.

I would love it if Brandon Parfitt or Dylan Clarke fell to 56. I would even consider them at 27 if all the above are gone.

would like to get logue but hey we traded out of the draft instead of into it. People dont see it yet but in three yrs time we will be regretting the direction we took.

Not when we may have essentially 3 first round talents next draft depending on when Naish is bidded on.

At 27 we should be able to get a good quality role player midfielder. Sounds like this s not the year for talls. But next year 2 * firsts and a good array of talls sounds great to start to fix a major future list need.
I really would like a safe, great attitude midfielder to add to our depth there and to provide a long term option as some guys get over 30.

At 27 we are very unlikely to get a star or solve an immediate list problem. But if we can get someone that can add to the team, even as a B grader, I will be happy.

He's an exciting type, no doubt. I want us to go for a genuine mid or tall with out first, but at our second, definitely. I think he might go between our picks though.

He doesn't have trouble getting the ball, so if he builds his fitness I could see him in the midfield. He's powerful, which is a trait I think we need, hence my love of SPP and Poholke.

i am hoping we steer clear of talls this year as the good ones go top 15.
the worry is that it's a need, as said elsewhere in this thread next yr is good for Talls & we have 2 1st rounders so we can get 1 or even 2 of them next yr (after trades).
this year i'd be taking mids in a deep draft for them, even our 2nd pick we could possible get a good one.

the club have traded in to next years' draft. people dont see it yet but in four years time we will be praising the direction we took. easy things to say.

i enjoy your different opinion, you seem a keen watcher of junior talent. who do you have at 27 this year, seen as that is what we have? do you do a phantom draft? you should do one

Sam Powell-Pepper impresses me from the videos I have seen of him. He has something Dusty about him in the way he goes about playing and looks like a guy who would make immediate impact to our midfield.

Adding him alongside Caddy and Prestia to our midfield would make our midfield streets tougher than what it was last year if the skills and style of play he displays in the under 18s translate well into our senior side.

Definitely one we should go for if he slips to us. I assume other teams will keep their eye out for him too, so I think that he'll go before our pick.

Yeah, i wasn't very interested this year or last until I started going to TAC cup finals watching my little cuz play. Taranto just blew me away.

Heaps of options. Poholke, Drew, Parfitt, Clarke, Mutch, Romensky, Atley, Scharenberg, Guelfi, Graham...

Cox is talented but we have plenty of light-bodied talent. I want someone powerful or at least strong. Poholke, Drew, Parfitt, Begley (thanks for the reminder Toadvine ), Clarke. Kirby as a powerful small.
