This elite kick thing is so overrated, all this champion data crap is no indication of how good a player is. I'd consider suckling an elite kick but is far from being a star. Dangerfield and dusty you will find do a lot of clangers but have way more impact in a football match. Cripps is in this same categoryHe's not, possibly in the future. Although I find it difficult to fathom how a kid who can't kick will be a star. A good player no doubt but no star. Don't see what Lennon has to do with this.
Except that crips doesnt kick the ball often. This elite kick thing is so overrated, all this champion data crap is no indication of how good a player is. Cripps is a ****ing gun but he has to be because no one else will fire. If there were more good players around him those clearance numbers would drop a little.Cripps is the 1 clearance player in the AFL.
Averaged 8.8per game
That's more then Fyfe averaged in his Brownlow year.
Also 4th for contested possession
This is a kid in he's 3rd year of AFL footy.
Kid is a beast
And that's why it's always better to watch a game.I like Cripps and would love him at Tigerland but when we talk 'Elite' it has to be in all area's and Cripps isnt that yet and may never be that but he is tracking well for a 22 yo.
Just for argument sake even though there is 3 years difference to the 2 players i am about to compare, They are tracking very similar and yet the Richmond player Anthony Miles is considered by Richmond supporters as being 'B grade and trade material and Cripps is already considered 'A grade by Carlton supporters

Bishop any over agers worth looking at?
Markov was a good find last year
Drummond the year before was going well until he done his knee.
I like that a 19 year old can impact straight away.
Out of Mutch, Powell-Pepper & Scharenberg who will become the better player?
I much prefer Mutch tbh

If we get SPP i hope Bishop goes on a Weaver like meltdown after we drafted Jack.![]()
Seems to have garnered a fair bit of media interest. Fair chance hes gone before our pick anyways? To SPP's credit- He finished the season off well and has improved his kicking and decision making a bit from what it was at the start of the season. Still not for me, others on the board I like better.

Who do you want at 27?
A fair few slipped out of the first round last year. Remember Clarke, Hibberd, Mathieson and Balic we're all considered top 20 by the majority "group think" but they ended up going at picks 30+
It'll be interesting to see who tumbles down this year.
They were the obvious two- Mathieson ran a 12.5 beep test on draft combine which was appaling. Balic's wrist is completely stuffed.
Yeah a bit of talk about Mathieson's attitude at the time as well. who do you think could fall for similar reasons this year? I think I've seen you mention SPS and Shai Bolton?

Ridley, Begley, Rotham the three I'm eyeing off.
That's obviously taking those will be gone by then out. A pick in the 20s is hard to tell, someone 'always' slips & a couple bolt.

Whenever i hear the name Brennan all i can think of isRidley and Rotham are skinny third talls. Talented, but not what we need. Either a powerful, goal-kicking mid like Begley or Poholke, or a quality KPP like Brennan Cox.
Im gonna put my nut sack on your drum set!!Whenever i hear the name Brennan all i can think of is
