1. Essendon - Andrew McGrath
2. Greater Western Sydney - Tim Taranto
3. Brisbane Lions - Hugh McGluggage
4. Gold Coast - Ben Ainsworth
5. Carlton - Sam Petrevski-Seton
6. Gold Coast - Griffin Logue
7. Gold Coast - Jack Bowes
8. Fremantle - Tim English
9. Greater Western Sydney - Will Setterfield
10. Sydney Swans - Jy Simpkin
11. Gold Coast - Will Hayward
12. North Melbourne - Will Brodie
13. West Coast - Jordan Gallucci
14. Greater Western Sydney - Harry Perryman
15. Adelaide - Jarrod Berry
16. Port Adelaide - Todd Marshall
17. Brisbane Lions - Sam Powell-Pepper
18. Port Adelaide - Willem Drew
19. Western Bulldogs - Oliver Florent

That's my prediction for the first round. Now watch it be way off.

Surprised about cox but not about Marshall. Port just got rid of But her and Schulz. They need big forwards, preferably more mobile than Dixon.

In a phantom so far I've got Hayward, Maibaum and Lebois. Out of curiousity would you guys be happy with that?

I doubt we'll take Lebois though. Seems a specialist small forward, we tend to value versatility highly. Wonder where Dal rates Ridley?

Please tell me that Jack Maibaum is not pronounced as Mybum:$

In the 2 minute video i watched of Cedric Cox i wasnt impressed. In my very educated opinion, its a no from me.

If freo don't go English how far could he slip. That's a big question.

I'm guessing Florent is available if Cox and Marshall are off the board.
I saw that Brady Rawlings said talls are a priority for them in the draft, so maybe the Eagles will take English at 12.

I know he's been heavily linked to Freo but it doesn't make that much sense to me. I think Lyon would want to have them back up and challenging sooner rather than later and they really need to add to their midfield after losing players this year.
I think GC are the biggest threat as they'll already have a few midfielders banked and picks to burn. Can only hope they fear of homesickness puts them off.

I still think English goes to the Suns @ 6. Wouldn't be surprised if Clayton pips SOS and takes Petrevski-Seton @ 4 either. Would throw most mocks into chaos.
Can Gold Coast really afford to take SPS when he's said he wants to play in Melbourne? Especially if Ainsworth, who has said he is happy to go interstate, is at their pick?

Pick two is gonna be the one that shapes this draft. If GWS pass on McGluggage there's every chance he's a Blues player.

I agree with you, but Scott Clayton is not always one for reason and logic. "We should probably get an inside mi----ooooh skinny project player...."

As long as it's not the bloke who said we'd regret taking Bontempelli over Aish!

There was one bit of play in my 2 minutes of watching that screamed "Bulldogs player". But the rest was a bit meh. Seemed like an inferior version of Hunter.
But if they have watched more than 2 minutes it is probably better to listen to them [emoji14]

landsburger has been mentioning the link with Marshall and Cox with the Dogs way to much for mine, something is going on for sure. I don't know why we would be on the record via Sam on who we wanted in the draft, especially when Marshall and Cox a few weeks ago looked like they would be there at 18 and 26.

Agree. Can't see Brisbane taking McCluggage over Ainsworth, given his want to actually go to the Lions. Question is, who do we think GWS goes for at 2? If McGrath is taken at 1, do they reach for Taranto, Scrimshaw or even English?

Maybe there is someone else we want and he is being used to try and spook a couple of clubs. Smart stuff.

My crack at first round.

Bombers - McGrath
Giants- Taranto
Lions - McCluggage
Suns- Ainsworth
Giants - Setterfield
Blues - Petrevski-Seton
Suns - Logue
Fremantle - English
Suns - Scrimshaw
Sydney - Simpkin
Suns - Bowes
Giants - Perryman
Kangaroos - Brodie
Eagles - Powell-Pepper
Crows - Venables
Power - Hayward
Lions - Galucci
Power - Marshall
Dogs - Berry

Essendon - McGrath
GWS - Taranto
Brisbane - Ainsworth
GC - Petrevski-Seton
GC - Bowes
GWS - Setterfield
Carlton - McCluggage
Fremantle - English
Suns - Scrimshaw
GWS - Perryman
Sydney - Logue
Suns - Hayward
NM - Brodie
Eagles - Powell-Pepper
Adelaide - Berry
PA - Venables
Lions - Simpkin
PA - Marshall
WB - Florent

The top 5 is a bit idealised, just wanted to see what it would look like if McCluggage got to Carlton, but I think there's a fair chance he does. Still praying that Marshall gets taken by PA, and I think he will, and Simpkin is left for us. I do feel like we'd take Florent, given he'll be on the board at 18, but if Venables is overlooked by Norf, PA and Adelaide then he looks like he'll be there for us too.
