ed 28/1: Since we're going at a snail's pace, pick time limits will be changing at the end of this round (after hollywood23's pick, 126). Instead of 24 hours per pick, we'll be going down to 12 hours - however, the deadline will never be earlier than 12 noon. If that 12-hour limit means your pick expires between midnight and midday, the deadline gets shifted to midday (so you might sometimes have nearly 24 hours anyway), so people don't miss picks entirely due to the previous poster picking late at night.
An example to make sure we're clear (hopefully):
Boncer makes his pick at 11am. Shermy has 12 hours, so 11pm is his deadline, and he makes his pick at 9pm. Because BrewSmackerVeiny's pick is overnight (expiring at 9am), the deadline is pushed back to midday, so he ends up having 15 hours.
Sorry if this puts anyone out - I don't expect anyone to be glued to the screen, but we'll struggle to get through it all if we keep having 16, 20, 24 hr gaps this often. Just pop in reasonably often, especially if you know your pick is around the corner.

- A Main Draft will take place between 6pm on the 2nd of January until mid-February - we'll establish closer to the date exactly when we'll be stopping, but before the NAB challenge (starting on the 18th) is the idea. Ideally we'll have 25 picks each by that point.
- A Trade and Delisting Period throughout the NAB Challenge, plus a few days afterwards (Feb 18th - ~March 16th)
- A Supplementary Draft in the week before the H&A season (~March 16th - March 22nd), where we'll top-up to 30 players (with previously-delisted players back in the pool as well).
- A Mid-Season Draft, where all undrafted and delisted players are available. Preceded by a brief delisting period. Order will probably be the reverse of pre-season voting mentioned below.
- Trading between players freely available during season between rounds, no other limitations
- Judging based on a 3-2-1 vote for the best team of 22+3 (selected by each player from their 30) based on their performance throughout the H&A season. A pre-season 'minor premiership' will be voted for once lists are finalised at the start of the season. Minor novelty prizes based on AFL player ratings, SC scores, B&F positions etc will be awarded at the end of the season.
- Drafting will be in snake order (alternating 'first-to-last' and 'last-to-first' between rounds), I'll put up a proper list in the draft thread to come. Draft order was worked out with a random number generator, if you don't trust me, GAGF.

- There will be a hard limit of 24 hours per pick, but if you're participating, please try to make it snappy, as we won't get through the main draft before the NAB Challenge unless there are several picks per day (8 or 9 at last count). Try to have a quick check of the thread once or twice a day, and make sure you tag the next poster in your post when you pick. Also, keep an updated team sheet in this thread, so everyone can see how everyone else's squad is shaping up.
- I'll be updating the list of picks at least once a day, so make sure you check it before you post, and any picks before yours that I haven't got to yet, so you don't pick someone that's already been snapped up. Use full names too to avoid any confusion. If you stuff up, we'll move on after the 24 hour mark and you can fix your pick whenever you realise.
- If you're going to be unavailable for your next pick, give me a yell and we'll work something out.
