a real expert has solution to problems, anybody can point the finger.
First of all, I am not in any way, shape or form claiming to be an expert on anything other than garbage.

Secondly, I have in fact been equally vociferous in the necessary solution.
1) Conduct due diligence and find a competent, experienced person who has been with(preferably) a winning organization but is ready to take the next step and build out on his own.
2)Find out who in the scouting department argued AGAINST selecting Manziel. Keep him. Find out who in the scouting department argued FOR keeping the 2nd pick in the 2016 draft. Keep Him.
3) FIRE every other member of the scouting department. If neither of the above apply--they all go.
4)Mandate to whomever is hired--they will not, under ANY circumstances even THINK about trading down again in any draft ever--until further notice. Reasoning? You are picking 1st for a reason--we have NO impact players. Bad teams pick 1st. Bad teams that need players pick 1st. Bad teams pick in the top 10. Bad teams that need players pick in the top 10. (I think you get the idea)
5) I do NOT ever want to hear about a "process" or a "plan" or anything else. This is professional football--the plan is to win as many games as possible in the season in front of you. The goal is to be Super Bowl Champion. Period. End of story.
6) No player, no draftee, no free agent is to be given a spot. Not ever. You earn it by participating in minicamps, training camp, pre season and games.
7) There is NO such thing as not tackling in training camp. If the damn Squeelers can tackle to the ground--so can the Browns. Don't like it? Good we can't use you. When we cut you, no one will touch you....cause we are coming off 0-16.
Think you get the idea...it's not as complicated as the Browns try to make it.
