North Melbourne need to absolutely chuck the world at O'Meara. If they don't snare a quality player in the trade period they are a bottom 4 certainty. Going on previous form I can see North going for Schulz.

Schulz's career is over. He simply doesn't have the form to even get a bite from another club. He is relying on a club with little in the way of forwards and that only leaves Fremantle. However since they are rumoured to be getting McCarthy they may simply go down the development route rather than get someone else in their 30s.

Is there a feeling among injured Suns players that the club doesn't have state of the art medical facilities or first rate medical staff?

They have the facilities, it's the constant turnover of staff that is the issue. There simply isn't a sound off field structure in place that flows from year to year. The Gold Coast have the best sales pitch to land anyone they want from players to staff, but something is breaking down the chain of command that is killing the culture of that place.

Ive heard on various footy shows that its the turnover of the fitness staff that players arent impressed with. The change in philosophies every year is creating injuries.

According to rumour, he is not liked at the bulldogs at all. Rubs everyone up the wrong way from what I understand. Has an olympic sized ego.

He plays like he has a huge ego too. There are so many times he tries to do too much with the ball and ends up stuffing up. He is all about himself and not the team.

I think he will be up for trade. Freo should chase him hard.

He may be included in the trade to GC as part of O'Meara deal since GC want players and not picks. It is strange that Stringer is all of a sudden out of favour at Bulldogs. Maybe he has already told them he's leaving. Once you get on the wrong side of Bevo there is no coming back.

As an aside, jaeger means hunter in German. It's also the German word for fighter jet, which is pretty badass.
