I agree they are not horrid like a few previous. They are all around McManus type level. The problem is that McManus type level wont win shit. None of them have a really useful party trick that they can hang their hats on in my opinion thye are just all ok. Being the worlds best 'blocker' or forward tackler just isnt cutting it anymore. I dont mind Suban though, he just gets gased so often and disappears.Funny. Three years ago, Mayne was a dead eye with his set shots. His efforts and skills meant that he was very useful.
Admittedly when he first started he wasn't as accurate, but you are trying to rewrite history if you are arguing that those three players were part of ImperialPurple 's dumb arse brigade.
Same with Suban. He was praised as a long kick and an agrressive young mid. Future captain material; at least until we saw him sweating at his first interview. He was the shiny new that replaced the dumb arse brigade. He should be in the gun now, but the knock on Suban has been his low disposal count, not what he does with the ball.
Ironically, Suban was actually able to get the ball in the last quarter last week, for a negative result. I wonder if anything different would have happened if a Suns player was able to get the ball instead.
De Boer was different. He was touted as at least a top ten pick as a youngster, but didn't nominate in his draft year. The next year, he was monitored much more carefully in the WAFL, and his poor disposal was clearly noticed, which is why Fremantle got him as a rookie. His disposal in his first few games was terrible (Grey - like!), especially in front of goals, but that has improved over time to the point where he is nowhere near as bad as many posters like to think. Even on Saturday I can remember only one bad disposal, which is no worse than anyone else, and certainly not as fatal as Suban's efforts in the last.
But again, way too late for the dumb arse brigade.
Tldr; Scham is making shit up!

I assume he thought Cousins was snorting Berocca. You know he's only an AFL coach, it's not like he's had any exposure to drugs.
Wait, you are being sarcastic right?
I take no satisfaction in seeing the player I wanted us to pick with our first choice play like a gun in the exact position we could use him right now after he was taken by another team.
It frustrates me so.. so much.

It's crazy so many goals were scored against each team's superstar defenders like ???? And ???????Did anyone watch the north v Melbourne game? It was crazy high scoring... What was going on?
same could be said with any mature age draftee everCould've got him 12 months earlier though.
Not making shit up, go back and have a look at the threads. Just because you couldn't see that Mayne, Suban and De Boer are dumbarses doesn't mean others that can judge football talent couldn't. You were no doubt one of the idiots saying Suban would be our next captain LOL. How's that looking now? LOL
What the low down on Bradley Hill assisting the police?
There was some issue a while back where a couple of Hawks players were "assisting" police with some alleged sexual assault allegations?

As if that feral mob needs to be encouraged to boo.
I'm using the Deledio rule for my tipping Deledio not playing = Richmond lossDid my tips and picked WC, so no doubt Richmond will win. Richmond have been ruining tipping comps for years now.
TBH, I couldn't believe how lightly Vickery got off with that. The definition of a dog act.
I just want to know how Vickery is supposed to figure out he is being booed, they boo everything. I remember they booed the ball going out of bounds last year. The. Ball.
True but unlike when they beat us here last year West Coast will have 3 umpires doing their best to get them across the line.Dunno about injuries to either side 'cos I don't get that involved for tipping, but I've tipped the Tiges.
For no other reason than I've seen them play Domain as well as anyone and think they're capable.
The only betting men that regularly put money on Richmond are broke. If I was a betting man I'd put money on Richmond this week, albeit only like 5 bucks. They'll win this one and then get flogged by Melbourne the following week, that's just how they roll.
