Welcome to the Carlton Board 2016 Phantom Draft.
If you don't know how a phantom works it's quite simple:
1. Nominate the club you want to select for, by saying "In, can I please have (x) team FBI, you're a really amazing poster" below
2. You act as the draft manager for that team, select the player you think is best for your club at your draft pick.
- Drop the players name in the thread if you don't have a heap of time
- If you do have spare time or come back to it later, a full comprehensive write up of who the player is and why you took them is good.
3. You tag the next person in the draft order so they can make their pick, each player will have (y) ammount of time (unsure of exactly how much yet, basically until i get bored/frustrated) you'll be skipped at a point, in the mean time, expect to get constant tags/dm's/meetings at your front door from me if you don't select.
We're going to do 2 Phantom Drafts
DRAFT 1 - Pre Trade Week
- this draft will only be the first two rounds, and will be done with as the ladder stands at the time when all the managers are locked in and we start the draft
DRAFT 2 - Official Phantom
- this draft will be the entire draft and it will take place upon the completion of trade week leading up to the AFL Draft (or should I say NAB AFL Draft, shoutout to the sponsors if ya reading)
We all have a chat and vote on who had the best draft at the end, winner gets a thumbs up from me, a "One Week Get Out Of Scold Free Card" from Aphrodite so you can post as much list management chat in the Bluemour discussion as you want and MAYBE something tangible like a badge if the mods can organise it, who knows.
