Yeah not sure if that is the best match-up. If Saturday night was any guide, they seem to have earmarked Cunningham for more of an outside role.

i think you are right. I think a mix of Kizza, Parker, Mitchell and maybe Heeney or Towers will play on Murphy. I think it will be a team job to stop Murphy, Gibbs and Cripps. Set up right in the centre square like we did against Collingwood and we will negate their effect.

Blues forward line is a work in progress at the moment.

Midfield is their strength given all the top draft picks over the last decade so you would hope so.

Defence will rely on a second gamer playing on Franklin.

Blues were ok in NAB practice match a month ago against Swans (not that preseason means anything).

Swans should win but not as easily as last week.

We played about with our game plan that day. We were trying new set ups for the stoppages and centre bounces. We were also looking at alternative forward set ups with Nankervis. This match will be different from the experimental NAB matches. This is the real thing. Not sure how it will pan out but if we take anything like the same attitude that we had last week into the match we will win. But we need to be on our game as Carlton are not that far away under Bolton.

Can't see them playing Aliir. He hasn't had a game run with the structure at all only training if that.

The why not in the NAB is now the question.

Still, Ted is a pretty handy replacement if you have to have one.

Aliir plays the structure all the time in the twos. You mean he hasn't had a run with the personnel that are playing the structure in the Seniors? Certainly that's true. But he trains with them every so often (hehe) and they do match play every training session. He would just slot in and play his role. I think it might just be the game to give him a go if he is ready. But I didn't see the reserves trial match against WSU last week so don't quite know how he went. Apparently Teddy gave a away 5 goals or so people are saying. I wonder when Patton kicked his 5 as Teddy didn't come on until after quarter time.

AFL.com has us winning by 18
Squiggle has us winning by 37
Wow. 18 is much closer than I would have guessed. They have a hell of a lot of faith that Bolton has already turned them around.

We'll see. I'm doubtful it'll be less than 15points. 20 points would be disappointing IMO. I'm pretty confident of a 30+ point win. I'm hoping 60+. I'd be more than happy with 80+. I'd be thrilled with 100+.

I would say 24. Their home, we weren't tested, they did against a team the media are calling for top 4 whilst we are apparently going to slide.

If we play with the same manic pressure as we displayed on Saturday night then realistically we should win this by 8 goals minimum.

Yeh I agree.

It is one thing to match Richmond that really did play some poor footy, fun to watch but poor, here and there but we brought a whole lot more to the table last week than the tiggers.

Couldnt care less about murphy or gibbs, cripps is the one we need to stop. Not sure who we out to him. Too big and strong for the likes of cunningham.

I would be temted to try rampe on him however he may be needed down back. Id also think about heeney . Not exactlya tagging role but rather education

I'd play JPK on Cripps, though I wouldn't be surprised to see Mitchell on him for periods of the game as he can lay a solid tackle. No way could Heeney or Rampe match him for strength, the kid is a bull.
