Ryan looked great at WAFL. Reminded my of Cyril but even lazier.
i feel like Ryan might be the type of player once he is in a full time role will completely buy into a system

Funny to think that was the player everyone was saying
'Nope, no chance that he makes it to our first pick'
just a few weeks ago.
;)
Well I for one am not buying in to all this Rayner hate speech propaganda and still have him firmly in my top 3 players.

Depending on if he can improve that beep significantly or not by the combine will be a big factor in where he goes. Something like a 11 beep will put a lot of teams off.
I would consider attitude and work ethic problems would be worse than a poor beep test score, both of which will be gauged through interviews. If clubs believe he won't improve his endurance or have a great attitude towards rehab etc. Then that wojld be cause for concern. Unfortunately very little is publicly released about performance in interviews so we can't speculate on that. I doubt a club will worry about a poor beep test score if they think it will be improved dramatically in a professional environment.

Anyone watching the Knights V Calder game?

Bernacki has brought his own football. Kicked some good kicks and a few bad ones. Been incredible in the midfield for Calder.

Petruccelle has been using his speed quite well. Has good hands but kicking has been ordinary.

Stapleton has been very good for the Knights. Seems to be everywhere.

Coffield and Balta playing as generals in defense for their respective sides. Having good games.

Haha spoke too soon. Calder dominating.

Balta forward and dominanting there.
Can't believe he handed it off at the top of the square, should've had more to show for his dominance. One of my favorite players in the order and I think he can challenge Brander in my top 3. Has all the traits I like in a modern day KPF to kick a lot of goals at AFL level. Honestly think he could be like Jeremy Cameron but a bit more versatile.

Agree. I have him firmly in my top 10. Can see him even possibly challenging for the no.1 pick.

Liked Marcus Lentini today. Just has so much time in a similar way to Coffield. Doesn't panic.

Bernacki is an absolute ball magnet. Can find the ball no matter where he is.

He has been top 10 for me all along, well inside the top 10 actually but I now realise I shouldn't have any doubts over a player being used out of position for structural purposes. He has also proven himself as a forward when he's been used there, but has also got plenty of room to get better there in an AFL environment. Has more going for him than other top picks in recent drafts.

I was watching the game on and off, tuned in for the 4th after the 5 minute mark. Coffield continues to stand out with his composure and I noticed Bernacki always looking inside and trying to play the ball in dangerous positions. Didn't notice Lentini a lot when I was watching but I wasn't looking for him either. I thought Firebrace was everywhere early on not knowing there was 2 of them out there.

Lentini played best in the quarters he was in defense. After you had started watching he had swung forward.

He reminds me of Williams on the half back line. Composed and slippery.

One thing I notice with Johnston when he is in the ruck is that he puts his hitouts into dangerous positions. Had some good hitouts to advantage. Second efforts are there too.

He is just far too big for hos opponents up forward if he plays a lot of time down there for the rest of the game he will kick 6+

Stream died :( tried getting it to work again but just won't work.

Aiden Domic has his moments. Can play.

I liked Dan Johnston's second Q up forward. Murray just couldn't get it deep enough to him in the third when the rebels got on top.

Aiden is my cousin. I was really confident about his chances at the start of the year but he didn't make the Vic Country squad and I'm starting to think he might not get drafted. They seem to be putting a lot of work into his inside game which is a great idea as he was a little too outside last year. I'm hoping with some improvement there he'll get a shot.

Looked like he has some AFL traits to me. Quite well skilled.

Probably a chance for a late or rookie pick.

On another note I think Lentini can go top 40 this year. Really liked the look of him.
