Murphy slipping all the way to 22 is an interesting one.

That alone fills me with confidence that his mail is pretty wrong and that Naughton and Higgins aren't certainties at our picks. There is no chance in hell Murphy slips out of the first round, let alone out of the top 10.

Honestly this whole thing is scaring the shit out of me. I'm starting to think we're going to play Trengove ruck and Adams forward which would be in line with our recent fascination with dragging players out of their preferred positions.

His improvement rate was pretty impressive throughout the year and is a good character with some leadership skills. He does seem like a Dalrymple pick. I'm on board, he's ranked 8 on my draft board.

I dont mind taking a key defender if hes good, but not for the "he can play straight away" reason that SEN draft gave.

Dal hasnt inspired much confidence that he can pick keypos, but if he thinks this guy is a top 10 keypo pick (i.e. 200 gamer), then you have to pick him.

Stephenson at 4 has seemingly been ruled out by almost every other source in the game so I don't have a lot of confidence in this draft.

I tend to agree. It's also a bit unbelievable that we passed on Murphy/Richards at 16 and we let Cerra slide down to pick 10.

When they take the jumper for the presentation of the top ten they
always seem to have the right size and name on the back. This
year they may need a range of jumper sizes and an old lady on
sight to do the iron on names.

Doubt it will happen, but would be great if Brayshaw is available at 9! But would need Stephenson to go early & have a couple of clubs reach for needs. Be good if saints take Coffield & then decide between Brayshaw/Cerra & we take the other

I know Bailey Morrish pretty well from when he train at Casey. Good bloke that can play almost anywhere. Strong leadership ability
