Gee some of LDU's numbers don't look that good. Fewest contested possessions but also worst disposal efficiency. Not a great combination.

I have been re watching a few highlight packages and gee Lochie O'Brien looks impressive, a bullet like left foot, good mark, pace and his contested possession work was not too shabby either, reminded me a bit of Isaac Smith. Will probably go before our Port pick but it would be fantastic if he slides. If we can somehow work our way up the draft I wouldn't hesitate to take him at around the 6-10 range.

Because LDU can't kick to save himself, imo. Stats seem to back that up, 53% kicking efficiency from a vast majority of disposals on the outside. Gets a heap of UCP but what use is that if you butcher it. (Edit: Know I'm being harsh saying he butchers it but you have to be harsh when talking about top 5 talent)
We will take Hunter Clarke if at pick 14.
Whats the go with Darcy Fogarty? I know he has had a injury but he was fit enough to play State champs so it must not have been that bad. The footy he was producing was pathetic at the start of the season. Hd high hopes for him but I reckon he will be a late 1st round selection. Probs tanked...

He carried the knee injury through the champs and as soon as they where over he was in for surgery. Can't use this season as a true gauge

Downgrade pick 1 for pick 2 + another pick. That way we still probably get Dow and more points to cover a Ballenden bid.

I like this idea. If GC can make an extremely unlikely upset it's even better: North give 3 and whatever to GWS for Kelly, GWS gives 3 and a late first round to us for 1. Maybe even turn Port and the GWS pick into another high first rounder: Dow + Constable. Although If GC don't jump Blues in percentage it's probably all moot because they'll take Dow.

Take pick one to the draft, acquire the best 18 year old in the land. Looks like Rayner atm, but that decision will be left to better minds than us. Port's pick should be around the mark for Connor. Really flat about that end to the season, but come draft night, it will be a distant memory.

Was leaning towards an outside player at Ports pick but have to agree. The sad part is Worpol will be there at pick 18 and we could get three inside types if there wasn't Ballenden. Imagine Dow, Brayshaw/Hunter Clark and Worpol then Ballenden.

I still rate Worpel highly and feel like he's the kind of player clubs would still rate. I keep hearing the knock on him is his kicking but imo the issue is completely and utterly overblown. Would have zero issues with us taking him with the Port pick.

Such a shame Dow is injured. Would have been great to see him play with no fear of someone else grabbing hm
