Competitions 2017 Essendon Board Draft Game - Sign up/Discussion Thread

As in previous years, the Essendon board will once again run a fantasy draft game. For those unfamiliar with how this works, I'll cover the rules below.

- The draft order is randomly generated, the picks that you receive cannot be traded
- The draft will in a reverse snake order (eg. If there were 10 teams, an example of a players picks would be 1, 20, 21 etc.)
- Each team must select 22 players
- Once the draft is complete, a trade period is allowed (good luck getting a deal done)
- A 5-4-3-2-1 voting system at the end of the draft'/trade period will determine the winner. Optional if you want to give reasons for your decision.

Rules during the draft
- Once it is your turn to pick a player, please tag the next person.
- Try to keep an updated team sheet if possible, not as important during the draft but critical at the conclusion of it.
- If you know you are unable to make your next pick, you can either PM me or another player of who you intend to select. We don't want to go 12hrs+ without a pick as people will start to lose interest (especially towards the end).
- Once you select a player you are unable to change the pick.

Nope, you just select 21 players and at the end there is a vote to determine who has assembled the best team.

Sweet. I was thinking once we get 10 signed up, or a Tuesday/Wednesday start. Late comers can always join in at the back of the order, so I hope we can get the ball rolling ASAP.

Are we assuming every player is injury free?

Maybe the same as the "my boy" draft: 6 hours between 8 am and 10 pm (given most people are asleep between those times)
