Did a quick lookup of a few teams 22 and understand who have played AFL to argue with a Power fan, and I was surprised at the depth of our youth compared to other sides. Considering we have McKay, Polson, Fisher as likely inclusions over the coming weeks..

Makes some of the commentary from the 'experts' laughableI'm not surprised at all.
We are probably the team who's gone the hardest at a rebuild and drafting/trading in young kids over the last 2 years.
We've built up an envious group of talented youngsters in a very short space of time.

Last year 500k/3 years was worth band 3 compensation if they were Kreuzer's age.Just another point to consider, if we finish bottom 4 and Kreuzer attracts an offer worthy of band 1 compo (which I believe should be strongly considered), that deal would be billed by attracting a Fyfe by FA.
Not sure if want to be taking Fyfe at the expense of Kreuzer. I would only consider if it costs us nothing but cap space

What do you think would trigger band 1 this year? Surely 750k+ and at least 3 years. I don't think that's going to happen, ergo get Fyfe.
Yep. The fact that we have only been doing it for two drafts makes it even more impressive. Amazing actually
We could pay 4 mill in one year if the salary cap goes up by 25%

Yep amazing by SOS and the team...such a quick turnaround.
2 years ago the only talented youngsters we had were Docherty, Cripps, Byrne and we thought Graham and Buckley...
Compare that to our haul now and it's truly an outstanding turnaround.
As mentioned i think i can honestly say in an unbiased way, we have the most promising group of 22 and under players.
Or at least level with any other team in the comp like GWS, Dogs, GC, Brisbane etc

There are parameters set by the commission each year based on the current TPP distribution and figures as well anticipation of future years to ensure that it's all above board in terms of fair value. There are no set parameters. It's up to the AFL's discretion.
If that was truely the case Richmond wouldn't have received any compensation for VickeryThere are parameters set by the commission each year based on the current TPP distribution and figures as well anticipation of future years to ensure that it's all above board in terms of fair value.
If the result is deemed anomalous, the commissions then intervenes.
Yeah i'd be fine if he stayed for 2018 on $350k.$300k is fine to keep Daisy on, surely no one here can complain about that??
Agreed.GET HOPPER

I wouldn't go anywhere near him either. A massive front funner who still hasn't worked out how to work his way through a tag.Zaharakis is a pea hearted football player. Is on par with ed curnow for disposal quality and doesn't have anything like eds ticker or courage. Massive pass for me and would extremely pissed off if we ended up with him.
They have rules about fair trades too, then Hawthorn sold their soul for a packet of stale twisties to St.Kilda.
Their excuse, the dude paid to look at this was on an excursion and not in at work on that day.
They make shit up on the run
Just on that, there's not been anywhere near enough scrutiny on this trade, I really hope Hawthorn finish bottom 4 just to highlight the charade in its entirety. Only problem with that is there's no way the Hawks will repay the favour to us this year for our shithouse trade we made with them late no doubt under a handshake agreement...
No.$300k is fine to keep Daisy on, surely no one here can complain about that??
Not sure you have been keeping close tabs on the trade we did with Hawthorn. We gave GWS's second round pick which will be a likely pick 30-36 and got MacReadie, Williamson & Kerr. Do you want pick 36 now and give those three to the Hawks. There was no handshake agreement obviously we delisted a lot of players so we needed picks to replace them. It just looks like at this stage we may have hit the jackpot with those picks.
