Barlow in the Suns leadership group. I wouldn't be shocked if he goes 110+. Ross stuffed him over last year.
I too think he could push that 110 mark. His skill-set seems to complement the other mids GC has perfectly.
I'm certainly considering

I didn't realise Watson was only 450k..
He's 34 and was last seen drinking beer at the Ashes while his club got torn apart by bottom 4 teams.
450k is expensive

As much as i'd love to see Jobe tear the season apart I don't think it will happen.
I believe the contested possession mantle that JPK has had a strangle hold on for the past... well forever will be passed to one Mr Cripps. If he was able to work on his pace and kicking disposal efficiency over the pre season he will be massive in 2017.

I reckon he will be a nice POD for after the byes. Too risky to start with him after having back surgery when Fyfe can be had for the same price.

Next year he could be a lock.

I like Libba as a pick but disagree with this bit. Bontempelli, Dahlhaus, Macrae, Libba, Wallis (when he's back), Dunkley, Jong. Plus the club has said that Smith, Hunter and Daniel will all be playing more inside this year and that's been their focus this preseason. But Libba can score points when forward so I think that's all irrelevant. Just maybe not 110 like when he attended every centre bounce a few years back. 105-107 I reckon.

I agree that Bont and wallis are inside monsters, but dollhouse and especially macrae are more burst outside players. I dont think that the dogs are weak inside, more that there midfield seems to have very flexible players who can do most things well, but don't really specialise in any role. Obviously this is probably a reflection of the coaches game plan, and thus i conclude by making absolutely no conclusions. Other than the dogs are looking pretty bloody good.

Its not that Barlow doesn't have potential. The problem is that their are cheaper players with more potential, or for a little more cash you can get rolled gold premos. Not for me, though i fully expect him to score irritatingly well.

Anyone know how do swallow's tracking this pre season??

I've just changed:

Mclovin, Murphy and heeney
To
Doc, swallow and Macrea

All hinges on swallow holding up (cue fat spider and his double entendres) :D
Haven't heard anything since they left Capistrano.

See I can do it without double enders.

Being a biased kangaroos supporter i would suggest you guys take this with a grain of salt - this being said, with our massive axe swing this year generates massive opportunities for our young kids to step up. I am a big fan of Mason Wood tearing this season apart, with Dal, Wells, Boomer etc etc getting the lemon sars there is numerous positions to fill. Been tearing the pre season training to shreds and running like a man possessed. Good FWD POD

Ballsy move to take him, good luck.

Barlow forward would have been nice but alas it didn't happen. Not interested in him MID only.
Sexy Robbie, Zorko and Dusty the only ones that are worthy of a starting spot IMO
Unfortunately CD have just about made these players redundant by taking away there dpp. campaigners.

Thoughts on Menegola?

No to pick gola. Good player - I would take him for sub 300. Not 480. At that price you should be picking keepers. He won't end up a top ten mid(though I hope i'm wrong) and not cheap enough to justify the selection through cash generation potential.

He can work on it after he works on the rehab for his back

Any interest in Matt Crouch? Averaged 105 in the last 6 rounds of the year.

If hes up for a move to Vic a few clubs mite be keen

As a SC option....no

So Marc Murphy and Dayne Beams are basically the same price besides one playing ten games and the other two. They've just thrown out all discount rules they use and winged it.
There have been a lot of exceptions to the CD "rules" on discounting for many years of SC now.

A player doesn't even have to have been injured for an extended length of time to attract a discount. For example, Mitch Honeychurch has a discount for 2017 because he only played 2 AFL games in 2016, despite playing managing to play 17 VFL games.
