And rightfully so, if any QB goes # 1.
Would be a great start for Lynch as GM at the 49ers to land Garrett with the second pick .

I honestly believe that Allen and Thomas will be better than Garrett. All three are very good though.

Looking forward to this draft tomorrow, even though it's not as good as last year or as good as next year will be with guys like Darnold, Rosen, Allen, Falk, Browning, and Rudolph coming through at QB, and a fair few good OL and D guys.

Hopefully we can trade down to pick 6-10 and take McCaffrey, if not just taking him or Fournette at #2 - just hopefully we don't take another mediocre DL guy up high or a scrubby DB. But I highly expect us, despite the new GM and HC, to completely disappoint me.

Something I'd be happy with + realistic: trade down + McCaffrey, Corey Davis, Moreau/Sidney Jones, Davenport, Kupp, Anthony Walker, Vallejo, Saubert, Chad Kelly, Richie Brown

My top 5 busts - Ross, Howard, Foster, Peppers, Kizer
Top 5 steals - Chad Kelly, Kupp, Hendrickson, Kittle, Fish Smithson

You would think that, but when an owner over rules the football department for draft picks. Unless they couldnt figure out a trade for pick 5 from the Titans and feel he wont be there for pick 12.

And then they get to ruin Sam Darnold with the #1 pick in next years draft.

I will be ecstatic if the Browns did a fuey and took Garrett and Howard at 12 and didn't panic over Trubisky (who I reckon will slide to mid to late teens), then took Davis Webb at 33.

I hope the Browns are just trying to stir up some drama by leaking Trubisky could be the pick at 1.

I dont think the browns are that smart. and the owner wanted a QB but the coaching staff wanted Garrett. like with the Colts and Cowboys, The owner gets his own way even if its going to ruin the team even more.

Browns take trubisky at 1, then do a minor trade up to 7 or 8 to get Jon Allen

Getting Allen instead of garrett I don't think is a downgrade at all. But it's likely he is there at 7 or 8.

Would have them Still walk out of the 1st round with the qb they want (guaranteed) then arguably the best player in the draft anyway who is unreasonably slipping.
