The first 8 with the exception of Grant are all academy players for either GWS Brisbane or GC and Naish is F/S to Richmond but there is some real talent in the rest.

Some good talls in there too.

Seems to be several players that could be #1 possibles at this stage... I remember several names from those u17 games previously discussed... I remember Lochie O'Brien looked highly talented, could make his own time .... "O'Brien might be the best midfielder in it. He's an excellent runner, has a turn of speed and is a composed left-foot kick."

TOBY WOOLLER
194CM | 84KG | OAKLEIGH CHARGERS

A strong, well built, mobile centre half forward who possesses an impressive tank for his level of development. Wooller is a solid overhead mark and presents strongly on the lead, either as a link up target or to stretch defences to create space for the team – his style and leadership drawing numerous comparisons to St Kilda star Nick Riewoldt. Despite his size, he is exceptionally clean below his knees, and uses the ball well by hand and foot. He has grown to 194cm over the summer which puts him well into key position territory, and we can expect probably expect him to be trialled at both ends of the ground this year to assess his versatility. A big one to watch develop this year.

Sounds good, and a good size too. Be interesting to see how he goes at the Champs though. I remember last year blokes such as Karl Brown were getting similar write ups, and when it came to the champs they couldn't get near it.

One thing's for certain, whoever is touted as #1 pick at the start of the year, never ends up being the #1 pick. Would be nice if Brander slid. Fogarty, Coleman-Jones and McLean would all be good gets, too.

Edit - looks like Fogarty has grown too.

If Brander slides though would we change our opinion. Its like the Groucho Marx quote "I DON'T WANT TO BELONG TO ANY CLUB THAT WILL ACCEPT PEOPLE LIKE ME AS A MEMBER" , if he does slide does that me he wouldn't appeal as much.

Obviously nice family connection to Wooller as well. He impressed me in the games last year but I doubt he will go too early , there is a lot of tall talent this year.

Jack "Henry" Higgins looked a ripper in the game or two I saw last year. He may slip a bit based on height but so did a certain Dogs player.

He's not that short, 178cm... Might still grow too. Taller than Prestia. Almost Parfitt size. Looks a good type.

I know of 4 current ER guns, and Joel Garner I know least about.
Last year I was all over Jordan Gallucci, but tbh, hardly ever saw him, as these elite private school boy players have so many commitments outside TAC.
That said, I love the look of-
-Adam Cerra- exquisite skills and class- missed a lot of 2016 but was under age.
-Jaidyn Stephenson- abundance of X Factor, one of those tall mids or an explosive KF.
-Sam Hayes- a classic tall ruckman with nous and skills.
-Joel Garner- will look out for him if he plays tomorrow.

Probably biased, but could see all 4 in the top 20.
couple of articles on Eastern mention Cerra..(also says Hayes is now 204)... how does his name get pronounced. Cerra like Cherry or Cerra like Sarah.

Looking at him in 2015 GF highlights .. he looks a handy Duncan type?

Road to the draft has Cerra and Wooller in the top 20 watch list.

Ethan Penrith sounds like one to keep an eye on as a possible small back? 13 tackles, 9 contested possessions, provides plenty of run it appears.

It mentions a few names that we should keep an eye on...Wooller for one. Vdubs player..Adam Cerra another
Joel Naylor sounds worthy of keeping tabs on....
Kicking more than half of Northern's goals in a winning performance, Joel Naylor, 190cm, 84kg provided a strong target up forward with 12 disposals, five marks (three contested), six goals and three behinds.
