Probably referring to the years JPK and Selwood have consecutively averaged 110+, something that Gawn hasn't done. Even Goldstein has done that

Not sure that's even relevant.. Gawn had 2 knee reco's..

Once he was finally fit, played last 13 games of 2015 and averaged 102.

First full season he aveaged 118.

Then they go and change the 3rd man up rule which favours a ruckman like Gawn, potentially worth an extra 5-8 ppg for him.

Absolute no brainer to start with Gawn, the only exception will be if Goldstein comes out and absolutely dominates JLT 2 and 3.

Witts is a sick pick aye
Yep, 41 SC points in a quarter and a half of footy from 5 hitouts and 6 touches, God status actually..
Shame about the injury :(

Stef is a sick pick aye ;)

but seriously, rucks are a mess this year IMO. so many options for R2 and ALL have doubts or injury history or whatever it may be.
I can see a lot of people picking their R2 about 5 minutes before lockout. :)

Getting cold feet with Ryder. If Goldstein looks his normal self in the JLT games I'll go with him.

Gee rucks are tough this year. Just so many variables and uncertainties. Even Gawn who might spend more time up forward if Spencer establishes himself.

Gawn scored 94 from 56% TOG even with Spencer playing. Studly

Haha true. Stef scored 61 from 46% TOG. Whilst mainly playing forward. Was dominant when in the ruck.

no points giving a reasonable reply to this derp, he knows all the answers, he has won SC every year since it started and knows exactly who to pick... oh wait

Might have been answered, but how was Tippet yesterday?

Not bad, not great. Was good around the ground and took a good mark up forward early (first mark inside 50 of the match).

Typical pre-season 60% effort performance by a senior player.
Played more ruck than forward.

Now has a man-bun though so that might spell the end of him.

Yeah, but it seemed he was behind Grundy either way after first few Rounds.

Yeah was behind him regardless, but he missed a large chunk of footy because of the split webbing.

Just did some research, he was out for 4 weeks, not 8 weeks.

Got excited!.. Hope he get's it right before Round 1 because i like my team better with him at R2.

8 weeks!?

Think it was five weeks, but yeah, it kept him out for a while.

Would be frustrating for him, has been working very hard in the off season to give himself a good run at it.

anyone wanting to know Ryder's leap, here it is
My 2 year old son has a bigger leap than Lobbe. ****in' hell, what a battler.

Yeah, didn't think it was 8 weeks.

Anyone had Jacobs before?
The big ranga may be a solution for my side. Not ideal but who knows.
Interrupted preseason
Forgot what it was, do a search here and you'll find it
Not sure he's playing JLT1

The grain of salt (just like every other pre-season game of course) comes in assessing the opposition.
Under strength Dogs team missing their best defender (Morris), best zoning defender (Boyd) and with a 3rd/4th string ruckman for 3 quarters.
