I don't really see many Huddo Lovers around here. What i do see are a few people that got annoyed with a bunch of lazy posts that were initially made that basically carried the message that you can't coach a forward line if you haven't been a gun forward yourself, and its snowballed from there.

Do you have to be a good forward yourself to be a good forwards coach? - no (thats pretty proven given the list of appointments at AFL level in this position)

Is huddo a good forwards coach? - who knows. I tend to lead towards the he's not bad but he's not great sort of camp based on what I see when I watch live at the game.

Do I have a problem with people pulling wide reaching assumptions out of their rectum and will pull them up on it even if I don't necessarily disgree with the point they may be trying to make - yes (but that doesn't make me a huddo lover)

Is this making a point in the form of asking and answering questions myself getting tedious and making me look like a douche - probably.

One thing I do know is Liverpool will be playing champions league next year, that makes me happy.

We need players who can apply defensive pressure, wherever on the ground they are played. Freo has only scored 29 points more than us but is sitting pretty in 5th. On the other hand, we are comfortably the worst for scores against - averaging 122.

Would have to be a huge offer to get May up the motorway. I personaly think it would be worth it. It would have to be enough to ensure GC didnt match and force a trade (he is restricted yes?). I wonder what state their salary cap is in?
He's not a free agent, just out of contract.

I liked your post because I wanted to reinforce your last point and was about to suggest a Schache/Casboult trade scenario of Schache and our second pick for Casboult and some knifes and forks and then I read your next post so I would like to withdraw my trade scenario. The rest of my post stands upright.

I do as well. We must have some $ ready to buy a name surely. He would be good.

Senior coach: Chris Fagan
Football strategy: Danny Daly
Forwards: Ben Hudson
Defence: Murray Davis
Midfield: Dale Tapping
Assistant midfield: Jed Adcock
Development coaches: Scott Borlace, Mitch Hahn, Paul Henriksen, Zane Littlejohn
Opposition coach: Danny Daly

You would think that the development coaches would be performing most of the skills coaching eg. handball/kicking/marks/tackling/set shots etc.

Fagan would set the game structures/plans/style with the line coaches carrying out those instructions and putting forward ideas to Fagan for consideration. If the line coaches are not delivering what Fagan wants they will be let go.
I will say Daly is doing well as the opposition coach.

Opposition have been going great every week

I really like Casboult. Sure he's not the best set shot at goal but he is very good at taking marks, has a big body & is not scared to throw his weight around. Additionally I think he's out of contract at the end of the year & wouldn't be as expensive as Tippett.
He's been a ****ing awful player for years and the only reason he's still on an AFL list is that he plays for Carlton. Not that bad these days, but I'd lose it if we went after him. I can't think of a player who's been so bad for so long and has continued to get gamed. I'm sorry, it's just that the thought of Casboult playing for the Lions makes me extremely mad :triumph::triumph::triumph:
Where's the shit emoji?

Oh well if we could convince him to come im sure we could satisfy the trade.

Pay him 4 mill over 5 years and offer a 4th rounder? Am I doing it right?
Why not be ruthless use the PSD option. We always get screwed over let us be the ones getting something for nothing for once

I really like walker offensively in the back half. If he can improve as the year goes on he'd be super valuable. Clear that he's not a natural defender though at present

I'm licking my lips to see Walker and McStay at both ends, swinging back and forth as per match ups, the flow of the game etc. I actually reckon those two as tandem swing men could work really well for us
