Pyke needs to focus instead of falling for obvious media traps. Premiership up for grabs.
Makes me believe he knows CC is wanting out with a reaction like that.

Come on mate. Just admit. It was Matera that ran over your cat.Yeah Matera isn't as slow as treacle... well maybe if it's his turn to chase. When there is a goal on offer he can move his way through traffic easily but other than that he is fairly useless. He makes Green look like an elite 2 way runner and that's saying something. Also shares Greens goal hogging ability.
Thought Fagan's reply was reasonable & balanced. Must admit the Crows must being getting p**sed off with 3 players being targeted by other clubs (sound familiar) Think Pyke has over reacted though & better served by keep eye on a flagWhat was said was the following.
Caroline Wilson. "There is a lot of talk that Charlie Cameron wants to go home and move back to Brisbane. He is contracted but I think Adelaide struggled last time to keep him there. Would you...would you look at a trade for Charlie Cameron?"
Chris Fagan: "We're certainly interested in getting players to our club that can help us progress up the ladder and his age profile and talent would certainly something we'd be interested in. I’ll leave all that to David Noble and Dom Ambrogio, but from a coaching perspective if Charlie Cameron were to be available and interested in coming to Brisbane, we'd love to have him as part of our team."
A bit of an over reaction to the constant speculation to 3 good young players possibly leaving. With the other 2 out of contract, they should get pretty good trades but they may play hard ball with Cameron and expect way overs as he has a year left on his contract. Might make it tough.Thought Fagan's reply was reasonable & balanced. The only player whose a gun on that list is Isaac Smith, but a future first round pick would be prob too high, but I like the thinking, we need a 28ish player to accompany our handful of veterans and he is in hawthorns best 3 players. Prob has 5 years left at top level as he was a late starter. I'd give ports pick this year for Smith if Hawthorn want to get into the first round! And a swap of picks later in the draft to our advantage would maybe work. There is an article on the AFL website where fans of clubs pick there trades as list manager. Don't think these dudes could be Lions supporters surely.
Dream trades
Steven Motlop to the Brisbane Lions in exchange for a third-round draft pick.
- Corey Evans, Brisbane Qld
Charlie Cameron and the Crows' first-round pick for Tom Rockliff.
- Harry Watson, Doncaster Vic
Isaac Smith in exchange for future 2018 first-round pick.
- Jonno Hill, Caulfield Vic
Lewis Taylor, a third-round pick and Ryan Harwood for Charlie Cameron.
- Jacob Campbell, Officer Vic
The last two are freaking ridiculous
I always used to love how Trav would walk up to Browny at his set shots and speak to him. We imagined he was giving little mantras of Trav wisdom from the Guru. You know, like "Kick it between the big ones Browny."Bit of a Travis Johnstone type?

I support the Suns and I've seen almost every single Suns game and trust me we do not want Matera. I think the Lions as a club have moved past having blokes on the team that play for themselves. He's talented when he wants to be. CC busts his arse off every game I've seen of the Crows. Sure he isn't the talent of Matera but he doesn't give up and plays the team game. IMO it's a no brainer and I'd choose CC every day of the week.Come on mate. Just admit. It was Matera that ran over your cat.
Thank we've found DanT7.

Yeah, as if we'd give up Harwood that easily.

A very poor post for pointing out something that isn't exactly common knowledge but isn't exactly a secret either?Very poor post hahaha
I live in Adelaide, but am a lions supporter and always have been.
I have heard of none of these off field issues. Since you are so in the know could you please elaborate on what these issues are?
Cameron would be a good pickup, but for what is being speculated (late first rounder) I feel is a massive overpay on a guy who has kicked 22 goals in 19 games for the Crows who are top. How many is he going to kick with us in a young, developing side 10?

Gee they're busy. What with all that work on the subtitles for ABC News Breakfast and all.I see the work experience kids are running the AFL website today.
I'm personally 50/50 on him. Absolutely insane talent, cracks in hard but his body lets him down (very light). Like the majority of Suns players probably isn't at the professional level required although I've heard he has improved in that regards this season but still a long way to go. Will cost a lot in trying to pry him away from the Suns and IMO don't know if he will ever be more than a flanker albeit a very good one. We do need a smart 3rd tall though IMO. Don't know if he is gettable for a few reasons...Apparently loves it at the Suns and is a loyal type, will cost a lot in a trade and if he ever tries to leave it would most likely be with a WA club. We would have to seriously overpay both in the contract and trade table to get him here IMO.What's your opinion on Jack Martin and is he gettable?

Mine would involve keeping Claye, obviously?
Also, huh? I don't get why that'd be me?
Don't be an arseh*le...
