Thought the same thing. Battle lines were drawn. it will be 18 or 19, we ain't getting him for a second rounder, they will make him wait a year, especially after Level.

Also thought, if the players were worried about loyalty and team selection and big picture stuff about players leaving coming in the GF - it is no wonder they lost so badly.

I have respect for the Crows as an organisation, but the way they have chucked a wobbly about young Guys wanting to leave when they are such active recipients of players leaving clubs is mind boggling - there hasn't been a player leaving a club that hasn't been linked to them for the last 5 years.

I'd be OK with that and back our team to improve our ladder position next year. My view always has been the difference in quality draftees in the mid range does not differ greatly year to year. It is at the top usually there is significant difference.
