With these massive list changes, shows how poor Haines and Dew must have assessed the list previously.
How ? Dew/Haines appointment around November last year , there is no time to assess what Clayton and other left behind.

He means they think the list is poor so that’s why they are making all these changes. That all the previous football departments mess they are now cleaning up

Hey peeps - just discussing on our board whether Suns could possibly entertain matching the Lynch offer. I know it's unlikely but keeen to know what Suns fans think.
Pick 3 hard to improve on - but surely you want some (or at least one?)decent players rather than just an influx of awesome draft picks which will take a few years to mature.

To be clear - I'm asking this because I don't want Richmond getting Lynch for nothing in terms of players/picks and would love the drama of the deal being matched.

the only scenario where we match is if Richmond have gone cheap, playing on Lynch's want for a premiership, to the point where we only get end of first round compo. Cant see Lynch agreeing to such a contract so feel theres basically zero chance we match.

Yeah see I know this, but I'm so hungry for some choas.

It's not unfair for me to say that the suns are struggling onfield - so it's not unreasonable, especially if some of those players like May and Hall (on top of Lynch) depart, that you have the financial capability to match. You also need some onfield experience and leadership.

But as you say - it could only happen if GC were confident of bringing in something better than pick 3 (picks or players or both).

I think compo pick 3 is probably already in play for Lukosius’s best mate in the draft.

Looks like we will get Miles & C.Ellis (& maybe Townsend) for peanuts as part of the agreement not to match.

Unfortunately Hawks supporters might have to start realising not everything is going to go their way these days? You’ve had a good run though.

On paper not too bad .
With Young and Holman- interchange

So if gws pick up shiel for pick 1 who would they go for?

If gws get shiel for pick 4 who would they go for?

Pretty big statement considering he is contracted.
I heard that and thought the same. The club hold the cards. If he states he wants to leave and Melbourne or whoever can’t come up with the goods, we just take the captaincy off him and he plays out his contract.

Jayden Laverde and pick 9 for Jack Martin

Thoughts? Pick 9 could be Hately, yet another South Australian.

Lukocious
Rankine
Rozee
Hatelty

And a 22 year old midfielder in Laverde.

No personal attacks pls. Am sensitive.

No thanks... if we play Martin in one position rather than every position on the field he would be our best player in my eyes

Jack Martin off table , I am pretty confident that if most players done a proper pre season and avoid injuries , next year will be a better season interm of team improvement.

Question. Should Bailey Scott nominate North/Cats but we then bid on him fairly early ie. Our Rd1 West Coast pick, if the nominated club doesn’t take him with their next pick, do we then get him?

Yes GC get him , but what is the point getting a player that nominated other club .
