If we are committed to picking up the Lukosius/Rozee combination as most trades gurus are predicting, Rozee will be there at pick 6 - So as long as that pick is part of the trade I guess all good?

Walsh, Lukosius, Rankine, M.King, Smith will all be taken before Rozee.

Who ever we trade the pick to, I guess there is the gentleman’s handshake on Rozee to go with it?

Might even snag a quality best 22 player as part of the deal.

What if the draft guru get it wrong ?

If the mail that we are after rozee is right good chance he could be there around 6ish.

What if Adelaide trade 8 13 to St Kilda in draft night after GC trade 3 to port .
St Kilda still get a King.

I would take 6 and one around 10/11/12 given the amount of midfielders around there in that next tier who would be a good fit. Hately/Caldwell/Collier-Dawkins who we would essentially be getting for free if we still nabbed Rozee at #6. If we got #8 that would most likely mean B.King who would be a huge flight risk without his brother.

It’s all still very risky though given Adelaide could strike at 4 or 5 and take Rozee giving us a repeat of Oliver assuming he would be there.

Again though, any deal would have to be well overs for us to consider.

I won't trade 3 out if St Kilda holding to 4 .
GC need 2 and 4 to get Lukosius and Rozee in my opinion .

People get too greedy with 3rd pick .
I don't mind slow development like Scrimshaw at pick 19 than pick 7 .

There is no hope of getting our picks.

Lukosius and Rankine will come back to SA sometime in their career, if its 2 years or 8 years im not sure

Yeah they will, but just for a holiday in their offseason..

South Australia is rubble compared to the Gold Coast and the SA talent we pickup will realise the moment they jump off the plane, but don’t stress, we will look after your boys..

Cal twomey touted it earlier this week but did concede suns would need something good back.
Social Media just in a feeding frenzy.
From what we have heard behind the scenes club is deadset on lukosious and keen on another SA kid. We are in direct competition with the SA clubs for there players and wont roll over for a small win.

With this frenzy about the SA clubs trying to snare early picks to draft the SA talent, it might just make those kids realise they'd be better off well away from SA. Imagine the pressure on them if they stay in SA.

Jaska unfortunately a victim of circumstance where one group of coaching stuff and recruitment staff said he'd be a slow burn and would commit to him, but then the new group obviously didn't share that view and got rid of him. Sucks, but there are casualties like that in every club that are in a similar situation to ours.

Gold Coast just delisted Jaska for his slow burning. He just came out saying all feedback was positive and the club knew he was going to take a few years, even put 8kgs on last year, but the club obviously didn’t want late bloomers...

That is what I am trying to said why get another top 10 pick and paid premium contract extension . Get a tough nut like Touk Miller type at pick 29 less skill but strong leadership .mix with skill and good character Lukosius and Rozee. Look at GWS eventually the salary cap will get busted with so many top 10 pick.
