Why is everyone saying jok would be a great pick .. if he wasn’t training with us not one person here would have mentioned him or know who he is ... a vfl playing mate said he’s a genuine plodder.

Just thinking the same, Sippa. Moves just like the great man. Jack was an absolute gun in the U/16's and in his bottom age year in the TAC cup. Only injury made him slide. I know we say this every year, but I can't believe he slipped through to us! Battle at 39, now this bloke at 41. Go Libba!Bytel sells candy like Lenny Hayes did !
Callum Wilkie
Rebounding defender.
191cm
87kg
22yo
Won the BnF for North Adelaide in their premiership year.
STRENGTHS: Marking, accumulation, versatility, smarts, consistency
IMPROVEMENTS: Disposal efficiency
Callum Wilkie is a 22 year-old third tall drop off defender. And has capped off his great year winning the best and fairest for premiers, North Adelaide in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL). Wilkie was a standout junior footballer, and played mainly forward for a number of SA State teams, but it has been his move into defence which has brought him back to the attention of the AFL. Wilkie is a marking machine, regularly taking 10-plus marks per game and 20-plus possessions. Wilkie also provides run off half-back and can slip forward to kick a goal as well. A smart footballer his ability to intercept, and quickly play on or switch the ball puts immediate pressure back onto the opposition. In 2018, he played 22 of a possible 23 games, averaging 25.5 disposals and 8.6 marks per game, as well as almost four rebounds per game.
Looks a unit.

Wilkie is a defender who looks to have very good kicking skills, not afraid to run and carry. Quite tall to and a pretty good mark going from the highlights. Possibly a good back up for our defence.
Go Saints
Bewley to Freo from memory. Gibbons not picked.I don't think Gibbons or Bewley got picked up. Good rookie options.
Gibbons looked the pick of the VFL players.
I’m happy with how we drafted, 4 mature aged players bit surprising but all bring something new to our list. I think there will be a lot more pressure for spots and of course that’s a good thing. Interestingly that 3 of our delisting made it too a new club. Hope that doesn’t come back to bit us.Hoping the rest of our picks have some speed and x-factor. Players with a bit of flare . Also at least 1 mature aged player who can step straight in.
Stevens retired mateA lot of people saying asking who's spot will be taken I also am not sure. However we only won 4 games last year so I think its safe to say that there are only a core group of players (the usual - stevo, manners, gresh, carlisle, webster, etc.). I'm hoping these mature recruits can actually make our 22. Probably not all of them but some, the pace they look like they have is something we could really use.
Our starting 22 for 2018 round 1 was
Geary Brown Roberton
Webster Carlisle Savage
Long Stevens Newnes
Acres McCartin Billings
Gresham Bruce Membrey
Longer Ross Steven
Armitage Clark Sinclair Steele
This team is a lot different compared to the one we ended up with, bear in mind a lot changes.
Bytel sells candy like Lenny Hayes did !
to be fair Subi did go undefeated last year and won the g/f without breaking a sweat ... not many players played great games against them hence their dominance
Apart from Mav, have any of our delistings been drafted or rookied?
Bad luck to freezer for not getting picked up. 3 of our delisted players picked up so we're doing something right. Good luck to all of them
