We'll have lots of cheap mids next year, Danger is going to be 770k, temped to leave him out knowing he dropped to 580k in the first third of the season.

Might have to start Fyfe next year, found form after I traded him out after the byes.

Pendles 550k
JPK, Treloar, Parker, Hannebery and Selwood 500-530k
Rockliff 470k?

This. Have been on the Not starting Danger train for a few weeks. 770k is way to much to pay for 1 player esp with the value availible.

Already doing my homework for sc 2018.

Have Danger in my mids but might drop him for someone cheaper and get him in when he falls in price a bit.

Will try and fit as many of this starting lineup in that I can....

SC 2018

B - Docherty,Laird,Witherden,Hurley
C - Dangerfield,Mitchell,Martin,Fyfe,Oliver,M.Crouch,Cripps
R - Gawn,NicNat
F - Gray,Billings,Forward/ruck

Others to consider -

Kelly
Merrett
Neale
Curnow
Macrae
Bont
Duncan
Franklin
Ellis
Rance
Menagola

I'll throw up Vlastuin as a smokey...again.

Midfield experiment clearly didn't go to plan and then did his shoulder, but has come back in defence and been magnificent in the past 6 weeks, probably one of our best players. Averaged a tick over 90 in those 6 games, 3 round average of 106. I think it is now firmly established that defence is where he is best suited, and it looks as though he has made that jump and taken his game to that next level.

Adding him to my "consider" list. :thumbsu:

Never again:

J. Selwood
Pendlebury
Shaw
Roberton
Dahlhaus
GC Lynch
Rockliff (never had him and never will)

Probably not:

Treloar
Bont
Sloane
Fyfe (for the first 10 rounds)
O'Meara

Players I want a piece of:

T. Mitchell
Billings
Cripps
Z. Merrett
Naitanui
M. Crouch (am tempted)

Yes, a thousand times yes, let's go again:

Dangerfield
Docherty

Maybe:

Macrae
Oliver
Gawn
Laird

Kelly is a question mark depending on where he winds up. And Heeney if he retains DPP (still think he has another gear and was close this year).

Prospects - Andy McGrath will be the Oliver of 2018. McGrath is my first selection in 2018.

Gus Brayshaw will be picked.

Nic Nat - come on down.

Maybe Viney if he is unders.

Jack Steele is a must have - barring injuries. Keep an eye on him. He didn't have a preseason this year. If he gets one next year he'll go VERY VERY well.

Bolds are 90% locked

B: Docherty, Laird, Lloyd
If they become defenders I'd strongly consider: Yeo and Blakely

M: Danger, Dusty, Titchell, Fyfe
One of these depending on prices and other factors: Kelly, Oliver, Cripps, Jelwood, Matt Crouch.
However, if Dusty leaves I'm not picking him on principle.

R: Nic Nat
Considering: Ryder (Lock if DPP again), Grundy, Gawn, Preuss (If Goldy leaves)
Rucks really depends on what happens in the offseason and if someone else jumps out as value again. Also dependant on DPP.

Forwards completely depend on who gets DPP. I think Zorko is a good chance of getting it and if he does he is 100% locked and loaded. I don't like Gray unless I know he will be in the middle again. There's also a chance that Danger, Dusty or Bont get DPP considering how much they play there. If Macrae is still a forward I'll lock him in straight away but I doubt he will be. Forwards are too early to predict because of position changes and shit but I'd be considering Heeney, Wingard, Greene, and Billings. I really really like Walters but I don't know if Bennell will steal his midfield time. Bennell should be value right? I'd expect him under 300k so everyone will have him including me.

For rooks Jack Graham is 100% in my side.

Didn't watch much of Port this year. Is Ryder any chance to retain DPP?
Doesn't seem likely too me, but I'm just looking at the stats.
Really got going in the second half of the year.
