I'd use the extra coin to upgrade Parker to Dusty, Mitchell, Kelly or M. Crouch.
Prefer Luke McDonald over Tuohy, who I don't see improving on last year.
Yeah pig Mitchell is an option and Parker would be first to go. I reckon Tuohy might improve without Mackie being there

Rd10 bye definitely has to be considered, especially the ruck if there is no cover. The others need to in the back of your head, it's very easy to fill your team with nothing but solid Rd14 bye players.WHY are so many people worried about the bye, so far out?

This year Ive decided to back myself, and pick the team I think will do well, with attacking flair.
Ive been a regular player of Supercoach and this is my team.

Hey mate, some nice premo choices in that team. I reckon you're better off having Walters and Petracca as forwards and get some mid rookies in their place.
Bennell is out indefinitely so I'd avoid him. Cyril hasn't had a full pre season either so he has some risk. Switch these two for rookies and perhaps grab another premium defender. Stringer could be anything, I'd wait and see how he goes in JLT.

I put emphasis on midfield strength, but did have Walters forward.
I swapped around to get Harley on the ground, as that's where you want the money players, not the bench.
Don't really matter where they play I reckon as long as they scorers.
Bennell not out indefinitely?
If he is is fit he will play 100% and he is way too good not to have in your team at that crazy price!
You a Hawks fan so will take your advice and watch Cryril closely, but again, at that price hes a must surely?
Yeah my backline is an issue, but I have done my DD and I reckon these blokes will front up and score R1, particularly Naughton.
He is my pick as someone who will go under the SC radar but perform well from game one.
Seen a bit of him here in WA and was spewin Freo didn't pick him up in the draft.

No dramas, to be fair I haven't heard much about Bennell over here in Vic. Just assumed he was on the outer after the recent mishap. Agreed with you though, if he's fit and firing by round 1 he's hard to ignore. Don't know much about Naughton, I'll have to do some more research there. Keep an eye on Cyril but have a backup plan in case he's not ready for round 1

Welcome mate.
Way too much risk for mine. You're relying on guys to break out like Brayshaw, Stringer etc and become keepers, plus you've got regularly injured players like Cyril, Rocky, Christensen, Lycett, Sandi that if things go wrong will burn up your trades.
Try to cut your risk down by turning some of these midprice maybe's into good safe rookies like Davies-Uniacke, Higgins, Setterfield, Brodie and use the money you save to upgrade the rest to an extra premo on each line.
Rucks of Sandi and Lycett is risky but it could really work out for you if they stay fit. Both can score well above their asking prices.
All your main premos look good. Bennell is a concern. Doesn't look likely does old Harley.

And yeah I am banking on guys breaking out, injuries, form etc etc...but its all a gamble regardless.
That's the difference between making it and breaking it in my leagues.
