Looking through that team again it definitely has too much risk in it for my liking.

Hibberd, Hanley, Fyfe, Prestia, Cripps, Coniglio, Gawn, Lycett, Gray, Barlow and Smith all have some injury history.

Having a cheap R2 is like a drug!! Feels like you have a shit tonne of money when you do it.

R2 Lycett will breakdown, again. Then it really hurts.

Really feel like my Sourav Ganguly's are on the line with so many Max Rookes and JOM, but $306.8k in reserve for danger when he drops...

I think I am getting pretty close to my R1 team barring any major surprises to come out of the pre season comp. I only have about $25K in cash which is a slight concern but may get a couple of cheaper rookies in.

Backline I may tinker with Burton and Wilson, AA is there in the hope he will be drafted for some ruck duties but if that doesn't happen during JLT I will probably put a cheaper rookie in.

I'm pretty happy with the midfield and can't see to many changes I want to make.

I've gone with Sandi at R2 and hoping he can make it through the first ten rounds unscathed and then be looking to upgrade in the bye period to Ryder or whoever is killing it in the ruck.

I'm reasonably happy with my forwards the only absolut locks at this stage are the lunch meat and Ahern, Lobb is on my watch list to bring in if it looks like he's going to be the main GWS ruck and looks decent in JLT.

Tear it to shreds! I've gone for risky gambles left right and centre. Fatlop particularly. Feel like the SA advantage will suit his play though. I've been burned by O'Meara before... I should have picked another midpricer or bottom out Motlop to a rookie and upgrade Omeara (I still might). Perhaps Higgins for Fatlop and Pendles for o'meara. Only mid/ruck premos for me.

Combined they have Played 133 of 220 games over the last 2 seasons.

Good luck though man, if they all stay fit simultaneously while all increasing their average by at least 10-20 points per game then you're ahead of the pack.

Tell me about it mate, but every year I keep doing the same thing and getting the same results. Insanity perhaps. But if they do get injured early it's just a sraight swap plus 306k to right the sinking ship. Anyway time will tell, fingers crossed the gamble pays off!

1st crack, rookies highly subject to change based on JLT. Feel my midfield is a bit risky with injury concerns in recent history so might try shore it up a bit before round 1but for now this is it
