Heater may have to come into consideration with Wilson gone and now Zac Williams pick8ng up an achillies. Who else is a runner off half back for them?

Yeah don't like Christensen but dat midfield...
Christensen at F3 does worry me a tad, F4 is fine I think. Doubt I will role with that many expensive rookies so one of those along with something like Hurley -> Simmo and Oliver -> Beams will free up an upgrade to premo. Happy to lock in a value FWD line for now.Yeah don't like Christensen but dat midfield...
Not worth the extra mid and 3 high priced backs, you are exposing an extra rookie fwd and back!
2 extra unpredictable and at times rubbish scores on field for the first 6 weeks at least!
There's no guarantee that mid rookies are going to outscore rookies on other lines.
IIRC last year the best scoring rookies were mostly defenders. Blokes like Witherden, Newman, Ryan, McGrath, Stewart, Berry, etc.
Even Greenwood was a forward with DPP.
This is true but it opens up more risk needing to field 3 decent scoring rookies on 2 lines
instead of mitigating the risk by having 2 per line, dpp can help but you weaken a line to help another.
It might be fine but spreading the load/risk is a safer option.
Love the midfield
Except I’m actually under covers saying it..That clip basically depicts the emotions behind the entire pre-season selection process, right up until the round 1 lockout.
Interesting ! .......hadn't considered Wells, but with Lobb a ???? ......i could swap Lobb for Wells as my F4 ?Where im at atm.

Played around with my fwd line for shits n giggles and could squeeze these blokes in.. looks a head ache but all capable of scoring okay.

Love your Midfield .......but ATM it appears there's probably more mid rookies to choose from that Forwards & Defenders ....that may change, but myself, i'll bat deeper to F4 & D4 before the rookies ....and having 3 mid rookies

But ATM there appears to be more mid Rookie options than last year ?There's no guarantee that mid rookies are going to outscore rookies on other lines.

I reckon Will Brodie will be a decent mid cash cow aswell.Besides LDU, I'd be a lot more confident picking the likes of Setterfield, Higgins, Ahern, Murray, Doedee and which ever WC forward gets the nod for round 1 ahead of the likes of Nathan Freeman who's been a preseason lock for the last 35 years and a mature aged rookie trying to break into the Geelong midfield.
Ahern, Higgins, Kelly, Worpel all my current Mid Rookies .....plus obviously LDU + possibly Will Brodie ?Besides LDU, I'd be a lot more confident picking the likes of Setterfield, Higgins, Ahern, Murray, Doedee and which ever WC forward gets the nod for round 1 ahead of the likes of Nathan Freeman who's been a preseason lock for the last 35 years and a mature aged rookie trying to break into the Geelong midfield.
