2018 Rate My Team (Post JLT)

Haven't posted my team for a bit so this is what i'm working with atm, 12.5k left over.

Laird
Hibberd is actually doing a preseason this year, just hope his hammy doesn't go twang, and if it doesn't he's a safe bet for a top 6 def.
On the LMac train now, finished off last year well, sounds like he'll be more on the wing and in the guts than down back.

Danger Skipper Lock
Dusty best player in the comp, good starting draw, lock.
Mitchell will get 3000 touches again, lock.
Fyfe is back.
If Cripss doesn't break himself again he'll at least go at 105.

Like Kruze as a pod, reckon he'll be top 3 again, no competition for his spot, and all the other rucks are garbage anyways.
Anyone that didn't autofill has Gawn.

Heeney is a starboi, knee clean up doesn't worry me, I hope he keeps his DPP forever.
Reckon Billings could be the #2 scoring fwd this year (behind Jack Higgins), especially if he stops shitting his dacks in front of goals.
I froth Starlow, he'll win GCs BnF by a million votes like Gary used to.
Jumped on the DSmith hype after hearing about his performance in an intraclub game lol.

Nice team , good rationale ..... my only concern is playing 3 DEF Rookies on field

I feel more comfortable batting to D4 & F4 ... with the abundance of more mid rookies this year

I find the defenders very boring this year.
Doch dead.
Hurley a bit over priced and reckon he'll score less with Saad there now.

Started Howe last year but can't see him improving his scoring much
Bachar old and bad bye
Kade Simpson maybe, but I've already got 2 Carlton premos and I reckon they'll still be around the bottom.
Williams dead
Roberton sucked in the second half of the season, bad bye.
Probably could of won the whole thing 2 years ago if I didn't pick Daniel Rich.
BEllis bad bye.
McGovern maybe, but him and Simpson are the only other 2 I'd want in my team from round 1.

Very meh imo.

Add to that long list Sicily, Witherden , Burton .... all upcoming youngsters , plenty to choose IMO versus the forwards

The strictly forwards, if the teams losing and the players are not kicking goals ..... you get awe full scores

Also, Neale still averaged 111 between rounds 14-20, including a season-best 156. Fyfe averaged 119 in that timespan, but Neale's scoring didn't dip that dramatically, it's mostly offset by a terrible 44 in round 21 (I don't know if he got injured or tagged but he missed the following week).

Had low TOG. Ross admitted to making a mistake by playing Neale injured in that game.

Yeah it's shorter. Subi was the longest ground in the comp but it was narrow AF
That's why we play so well at Adelaide Oval because it's the same width as Subi but shorter so it tightened up the web even more.

New ground is wider but shorter. Overall it's bigger, bit more like the G.

About 100 square meters actually to run around the wider wings...speed and spread now our priority...our recruiting beginning to show this thinking.
