I hope that's crap. That would be one of the dumbest things we have done ever.
We turned Pick 5 into Carlisle & Gresham (pick 18). I dont think its dumb at all, I think turning pick 3 into two options similiar to above has merit. Although I must be only one who thinks Moore has a big future?

Probably been mentioned already but Gilbo reckons he can go around next year and would do so at another club. Gilbo and Mav to GCS for what or who?

On [device_name] using BigFooty.com mobile app
Package = Armitage , Weller , Gilbert
for what to make way for someone else - don't care who
with Roberton and Stevens futures in doub't and move on Wright and Minchington we now have 7 positions to fill.

He might but why the **** would we look for another tall forward. We just blew this years picks on KPBs too. We need mids a speedy one at that. I give up on expecting anything but heart ache from this club if we go after another tall.

Swap Moore for a decent, quick, midfielder & it has merit.

I believe our list isn’t much good but I also think it can be turned around very quickly. Good draft picks and sensible trades can make a huge difference. I have no idea how long it will take but anything can happen in 2 years especially if we improve a little next year and you never know if a good fa will come to us.

I agree North show how a good fixture and a few tweaks can make a big difference. We have a lot of potential that needs to be actualised and it would make a difference.

Dumb logic, the player who was in front at the same age doesn't necessarily mean a thing.
Cerra is probably ahead of Garry Ablett at the same age, certainly ahead of Dangerfield at the same age.
Cerra was a top 5 draft pick, probably only slid that far due to an injury interrupted draft year. Anyone that thinks that Acres’ start to his career is going to to get us a top 5 pick us kidding themselves.

What logic would you use when comparing the two?

I guess its more if he wanted home Acres might be their best chance at a good player just about to hit his prime. Cerra looks a gun but so did Siposs after 5 games.

Sipposs didn’t go pick 5 and he was no where near the standard that Cerra has been.

Agree Acres would definitely be someone that go hard at, but they wouldn’t consider a straight swap. And if they did I will personally drive the campaigner across the Nullarbor drinking bush chooks all the way!

I don't think it would be as far apart as you imagine. Obviously they'd both have to want to. Acres is just starting to look very good and before injury he was one of the few positives this season.

I agree Acres has a lot going for him. I wouldn’t be trading him away for peanuts. 23, just starting to hit some solid form.

But Cerra has not lost any value since being traded, if anything he has possibly gained some.

How would we all feel if we ended up with pick 5 this year and we gave it up for someone that has had a similar start to their career as
Acres.

I guess it's more if we got someone from interstate that wanted home after one year....would they gain value?
