I’m flabbergasted that an elite player like Hannebery is being considered to be a broken down hack when he’s 27.

He’s obviously playing hurt but still performing to a level that exceeds most of our incumbent mids.

Absolutely no reason why he couldn’t or won’t regain his form. The only worries from me are the cost and that he’s not my idea of a leader due to his off field habits (well away from Buddy he might clean up his act).

Hanners for a 2019 2nd rounder? Yes please.

When mentioning Lovett I think gringo2011 was just drawing the comparison that each club was trying to offload their “problem child”, not necessarily meaning that both players had the same issue, but both not squeaky clean all the same, and let’s hope we don’t get caught out again.

Scott is a very astute coach. He realised playing Cunnington & Ziebel at the same centre bounce was too dour & lacked leg speed. It’s a bit like us playing a combination of Ross/Armo/Steele/Stevens/Dunstan.

Anderson, Ahern & Simpkin all have a bit of toe & playing them midfield not only develops them as midfielders but also improves the teams midfield...

Meanwhile, Richo’s moves incl Carlisle forward, Ross half back & Geary loose defender. FMD.

Waste of time trading Paddy you would be lucky to get get a higher 4th rounder for him , one more knock in the head and he is finished, keep him and lets see if he improve , but make sure they develop him at Sandy not in the Seniors - Bruce , Membery and Battle will do the job up forward for us with Marshall helping at times - with Gresham , Long and Billings in the forward line feeding these guys it will make them look a million dollars
