Lily and Belle are good tough footballers and will both give it everything they have.

Drafting local girls is a real encouragement to juniors in SE Queensland because they get to see players they know personally making it onto a list and that encourages them to stay in the game. The benefits of drafting locals where possible will pay off in the years ahead.

As opposed to North who only took three from Tassie and one was in the VFLW.
 
Tassie is North’s region. Pretty sure they have first call on all Tassie girls.

Gives Tassie fans the one club to support.

The stated goal was to have 50% representation from Tas but it is currently around 30. Still doesn't work having the list spread over 2 states.
