Women's Footy Non-Lions AFLW Discussion 2023 (Season 8)

Watching Melbourne players one after the other requesting trade is simply lovely.

It was pretty annoying to watch them retain everyone last season when other top clubs continued to lose players. There was not a word mentioned in media about Melbourne staying too strong for 2023 season with no one leaving straight after winning a premiership. In comparison Ashleigh Woodland went from Adelaide to Port, we lost Bates, Bodey, Wardlaw and so on.

Demons not winning the premiership this season as well as players starting to move out now feels like some sense of justice and parity being restored to competition.

Bet the AFL don't ask for their million back.
