With the Super Bowl now done and dusted and free agency yet to arrive, it's that point in the year when NFL is probably at its most boring. So to help people deal with their need for NFL discussion, let's start up the BigFooty NFL mock draft for 2019 and encourage people to sign up and prepare.

The 2019 NFL offseason schedule up until the draft looks like this:

NFL clubs may begin to sign players whose 2019 CFL contracts have expired.

19 February 2019

First day for NFL clubs to designate franchise or transition-tagged players

NFL Scouting Combine, at Lucas Oil Stadium (Indianapolis, Indiana)

5 March 2019, 4pm ET

Prior to 4.00pm ET, deadline for NFL clubs to designate franchise or transition-tagged players

11-13 March 2019

Clubs are permitted to contact, and enter into contract negotiations with, the certified agents of players who will become unrestricted free agents upon the expiration of their 2018 player contracts at 4.00pm, ET on 13 March 2019

13 March 2019, 4pm ET

Prior to 4.00pm ET, clubs must exercise options for 2019 on all players who have option clauses in their 2018 contracts.

Prior to 4.00pm ET, clubs must submit qualifying offers to their restricted free agents with expiring contracts to retain a right of first refusal/compensation.

Prior to 4.00pm ET, clubs must submit a minimum salary tender to retain exclusive negotiating rights to their players with expiring 2018 contracts who have fewer than three accrued seasons of free agency credit.

Prior to 4.00pm ET, all clubs must be under the 2019 salary cap (top 51 rule begins).

At 4.00pm ET, all 2018 player contracts will expire.

At 4.00pm ET, the 2019 league year and free agency period will commence. The first day of the 2019 league year will end at 11:59:59pm, ET, on 13 March 2019. Clubs will receive a personnel notice that will include all transactions submitted to the league office during the period between 4.00pm and 11.59:59pm ET on 13 March 2019.

Trading period for 2019 begins at 4.00pm ET after expiration of all 2018 contracts.

24-27 March 2019

Annual League Meeting at Phoenix Arizona.

1 April 2019

Clubs that hired a new head coach after the end of the 2018 regular season may begin offseason workout programs.

15 April 2019

Clubs with returning head coaches may begin offseason workout programs.

19 April 2019

Deadline for restricted free agents to sign offer sheets.

25-27 April 2019

As usual, if you're keen and willing to participate, please nominate your preferred club in this thread, and we'll sort things out as we go. If we need people to take on a second team, then we'll put the call out here.

I would make the 6th and 7th rounds open ended.

Once the 5th round is over just let people make the picks for their team whenever they want.

Even if a player is chosen twice its fine, only one person can get the pick right anyway.

This way we can at least get the picks in.
 
Doubt Keim allows it, after getting all those plaudits for "ripping off" the Raiders last year to move up.

Its the only positive feedback he's got on first round pick in the past 3 years.
