If Adelaide happens to land Pick 1. Would the Suns entertain a trade for Lukosius and Rankine?
Have either of these two players signed contract extensions?
The interesting issue that the Suns should possible at least consider, is that if either Lukosius and or Rankine are problems to retain and the Suns look to trade them, this would be the year to do it to land Pick 1, especially if Suns have Pick 2. I cant imagine either Crows or Port having a pick as good as Pick 1 for at least the next 3 years.
This is the year you would get the most value for a 1st rounder for either Lukosius and or Rankine.
It would be a lock for both Rowell and Anderson.
Interesting and tough situation for all parties I would assume.
How bloody insulting can you be coming in here with that C***.
Pick 1 this year for pick 2 and 3 from last year with a year of development under their belt and one could be a once in a generation player.
On ya bike
I never said that.![]()

You did not show a lot of respect for Suns on your forum - quite contrary. Thanks I appreciate that. Just a polite enquiry.
Lets also remember the question asked was based on Crows getting Pick 1, which would be the best pick the Suns ever got for losing a player. Not to mention also it gives you both Anderson and Rowell assuming you have Pick 2.
Im sure there has been offensive trades made in here for your players by Vic posters, severely undervaluing them.

Lukosius, Rankine, King are special talents. So far all indications are they are happy and settling well on GC. FWIW, Lukosius and King actually asked Evans if they can stay with his family for the whole year. They basically became family members.
This is what Rankine had to say about going home to Adelaide.
“I haven’t been homesick so far and I don’t think I will be. I love it up here so much. I miss my family, but I’d rather they move up here than me go back if anything.”
“It’s a bit better up here, it’s more laid back, you don’t get hassled and it’s a good place for football to thrive and become really big on the coast. I’m happy to help do that and get around to communities.”
Suns will probably have top 2 pick this year plus Lions 1st round pick and possibly another one for Martin. One of Anderson/Rowell, an outside midfielder, Budarik from academy - more than adequate to boost midfield.
I understand Crows fans would love to have Lukosius/Rankine back after 1 year but to be honest it's becoming a little bit tiresome. Come back in 4 years. No draftees actually left Suns after two years except Caddy and that was when conditions at Suns were horrendous. Now the club is well set up.
Also why would they go back to Adelaide and join Crows? Based on Crows performance this year your window is shutting down fast. Sorry, my mistake, your windows is actually closed and rebuild including a new coach is looming.
I think the thing Adelaide/Port supporters need to get their head around is: if they looked like they were going to be 'problems to retain' do you really think us, of all clubs, would decide to take them at the draft after losing the amount of players we have?If Adelaide happens to land Pick 1. Would the Suns entertain a trade for Lukosius and Rankine?

I just find it a bit dishonest whey you rubbish Suns on Crows threads and then you come here and want to discuss trades.Im not going to argue with you as I am visitor here.
The way I respectfully post on your forum is how I should be judged. I inquired to entertain a conversation and explore trade options.
Thats fine if you dont want to discuss it. I respect that.

Think the response is fairly resounding.
We are happy with the players we have. Now is the time for us to start turning talent into team.
No doubt we'd love Rowell and Anderson, however.
I think close to zero chance we would offer up Luko / Rankine let alone both of them UNLESS they explicitly said they were not going to re-sign and demanded a trade.
We haven't had any indication of that so far so lets not plan on it happening.
Not many from that list that would interest me. A lot of fossils and spuds there.31 Hawks out of contract this year
Grant Birchall, Kaiden Brand, Shaun Burgoyne, Jon Ceglar, James Cousins, James Frawley, Conor Glass, Will Golds, Damon Greaves, Oliver Hanrahan, Blake Hardwick, Ricky Henderson, Changkuoth Jiath, Harrison Jones, Will Langford*, Ben McEvoy, Teia Miles, Darren Minchington, David Mirra, Tim Mohr, Dylan Moore, Tim O'Brien, Jaeger O'Meara, Marc Pittonet, Paul Puopolo, Jackson Ross, Jarryd Roughead, Ryan Schoenmakers, Liam Shiels, Ben Stratton, James Worpel.

It's just fans talking, and throwing up what ifs. Every clubs fans do it, including yours. This is why the AFL at times completely pisses me off and makes me think why bother following it, just stick with NRL.
The sickening self-entitlement of the AFL states supporters even when masked with politeness which I credit this writer with having makes me think the AFL is it’s own biggest enemy to growing the game.
Think you'll find that Lions pick will be in the 11 to 14 range. Will be happy to take
Pick 2 Noah Anderson
Brisbane’s pick 8-12 Ryan Byrnes
academy nominated
Conner budarick
3 gun top 20kids
I’d be more then happy to move the Brisbane pick for a handy player.
Without over paying. Aka Weller.
#12 Trent Bianco
Oakleigh Chargers/Vic Metro | Outside Midfielder
20/01/2001 | 176cm | 70kg
Arguably quite underrated given his size and the ability of his highly touted Oakleigh teammates, Bianco is one of the best ball users in the draft crop this season. Like Lachlan Ash, Bianco rebounds off half-back and can go into the middle when required, a place he will no doubt spend a lot of time this season having wrapped up his Year 12 studies last year. The co-captain of the Oakleigh Chargers is an outside ball user, and finding more contested ball could be an area he looks to in season 2019, but his skills are good enough that he could easily play as that outside user, especially considering his size. A versatile player, expect Bianco to be one of the Morrish Medal contenders this season when he is not running around for Vic Metro. He had a massive game against Tasmania Devils, racking up 42 disposals, although he did have seven clangers on the day. Keeps rising and despite being smaller, just finds the ball and uses it well more often than not.
May Ranking: #9
Last month: After a massive 42-disposal game back in Round 6 for the Chargers, Bianco had a quieter 17-disposal outing against the Knights, albeit laying 10 tackles in a great defensive effort. He was subdued on the MCG by his standards, finishing with 14 disposals, four marks, three clearances and four rebounds. Will no doubt have more impact going forward, and still looms as a crucial player in the Metro side.
Actually, your first post reads exactly like that.I never said that.![]()
From the outside looking in, Rankine appears to be on board with the Suns.To be honest.
If I had to pick one Out of the 2 to leave, outside looking in, it would be Lukosius.
We see Rankine doing media and talking up the club.
Barely ever see Jack.
I doubt GC would even accept pick 1, you’d need to throw in steak knifes.
TBH I don’t think there’s any chance any of them will leave this year.
