I've said it before so not a new thought but Suns and Southport should merge, use the Sharks ground as home base, supporter club base and HQ and build on the membership numbers that are there. Suns don't lose anything while Sharks jump into big league.....but won't happen of course.Have not seen anything its just my opinion on what the Gold Coast should be "DEMANDING" from the AFL not asking but demanding the assistance that will improve the club and make the club a genuine force like the GWS and not just a middle of the road team.
The AFL have created a club on the gold coast rather than promoting an existing club like southport so they need to now make sure it doesnt fail

I really hope we are competitive next year. Good to see Gold Coast appear to be being aggressive behind the scenes. If we improve our list with some decent trades and draft some elite talent next year could be fun. Just need everyone to buy in and create there own destiny. Things can change quickly.I've said it before so not a new thought but Suns and Southport should merge, use the Sharks ground as home base, supporter club base and HQ and build on the membership numbers that are there. Depends what we get for Martin. Might go towards the potential deal.Thing with Crouch is, he's contracted. I'm wondering how the Suns are going to strike a deal with Adelaide for him without using Lukosius or picks 1 and 2. Maybe a similar deal to Carlton, swap of next year's firsts?
What is B Crouch worth in your opinion?Thing with Crouch is, he's contracted. I'm wondering how the Suns are going to strike a deal with Adelaide for him without using Lukosius or picks 1 and 2. Maybe a similar deal to Carlton, swap of next year's firsts?
Best result for Martin is a late first, I'm guessing it gets done for an early 2nd. Would still need at least a swap of next year's firsts to get the deal done. Adelaide might even press for next year's first outright.Depends what we get for Martin. Might go towards the potential deal.
Not sure if Lukosius will want to go to the Crows at the moment. They don,t even have a coach. I think he may want to wait a year before he decides.Depends what we get for Martin. Might go towards the potential deal.
Top 10 pick, roughly pick 7-8. But you have to also factor in that he's contracted, Adelaide are known for driving a hard bargain at the trade table and Crouch just topped their Brownlow tally. I can see them really digging their heels in for Lukosius. It's possible next year's first from Gold Coast is enough of a carrot, but who knows. What is B Crouch worth in your opinion?
Yess!
Thought exactly the same thing. And Greenwood’s surf trip.Maybe there was more to his golf trip to the GC a few weeks ago than just a holiday...
I agree with this. Lukosius, Rowell and Anderson could be the nucleus of a premiership contender. You don't throw that away for an good but not great midfielder who provides a short-term boost. 2020 first has to be on the table though if there's any chance of getting it done.I think no chance B Crouch will happen. My guess is his manager plays games, puts pressure on Crows. Pick 1 and 2 and Lukosius involved is a big no for me even if Lukosius would ask to go home (not indication at the moment).
I did not like his contest work against Lions but against Cats he was one of the best in the first half. He is best 22 for Tigers. If he plays like that for Suns I would be fine with his contract. This is the reality for Suns at the moment if you want players to join us. He does run both ways all day and has a great DE. Having AFL pay him 100K of his contract as ambassadorial payment would help.If we are paying anything like that amount, it can get added to the long list of recruitment fu** ups. I don’t mind the length of contract but surely we are not going to pay that, what would Luko and Bens managers be asking for if a bog average player can get $600k
My thoughts exactly. We are good for that these daysI’d like it, but I don’t believe it.
I believe we are being used to drive the crows offer up.
I'm also alright with this as well though since it means it could affect the amount they can pay Lukosius.I’d like it, but I don’t believe it.

Crouch wants out AFL bubble cities and loves the GC lifestyle. He's keen. Ditto Greenwood.Thought exactly the same thing. And Greenwood’s surf trip.
He can bring his brother too thenCrouch wants out AFL bubble cities and loves the GC lifestyle. He's keen. Ditto Greenwood.
SO I'M TOLD
