Mixed feelings about this.
The academy extras and the rookie slots are a given, needed to be done.
Pick #1 and another pick next year that we can trade sounded right.
The other 2 picks seem a bit much.

Then I think about all the p-pick players from big clubs that have played in flag winning teams from this decade, and all the benefits that flow to big clubs who get it right (the fixture, the blockbuster games, the ability to underpay) and I think....good. Take what you can get when you can get it, the comp is not fair and never has been.

Actually all my Interstate friends are desperate for GC to succeed and love coming up for footy weekends.

I wish I could contribute to my thoughts on the package but I now just got an update on my points.

I don’t get any back till January and my next ban is the permanent one. Thanks a lot anyone that’s baited me over the last two years, given the size of my memberships, the coaching I do of both young men and women including two on our AFLW list and two young men in our academy, plus the fact that programs I’ve put in place has introduced a couple of hundred teenagers to AFL AND the fact I bring an NRL bogans perspective well I think it sorta sucks.

But I can’t allow myself to be permanently banned so I better go into exile for quite a while. I was hoping it would be a month but it’s going to have to be for a long time.

No way would I ever create a new account that’s not my style and the name Mr Bods I use as it gives away to those on the GC and in the Titans/Suns and some people in the local media who my identity is which is something I like.

So I’m just reiterating that my plan is to wait until at least January probably later before I contribute again.

I’ll use the various reactions to try and contribute my thoughts on things.

I believe AFL will review every year and can take picks away. I don't think you can touch future picks that are part of assistance package at the moment.

Does this mean we can prelist Budarick, Gore and Rosa NT without going to the draft this year for them

Do you think you guys might use this extra allocation to pick up a couple of our delisting a this year. Not trying to be condecending, but, due to the state of our club/ list we will be delisting some players who have quite a bit to offer. Guys like Bastinac, Eagles, Lester, Walker, Hinge etc are all a chance to be delisted and as they are all quite settled up here already they might be worth a look.
This extra allocation is going to be interesting for the NEAFL. With a reasonable injury run you should have a full squad of contracted players in the NEAFL each week. Might even have to loan some out?

Might be a good idea to use it now, especially with the AFL saying they could withdraw the assistance if necessary (eg we improve rapidly and the Vic whining becomes unbearable).
