List Mgmt. 2019 Draft/Trade/FA Thread - Final Wrap

You can expect to cop endless nastiness from the usual complainers from now until you make finals. Any success you have will be considered compromised by everyone who is sore that you got what you got.

Ignore them all and get on with building a great list. I look forward to the day when the game of the round is 1 v 2 - a QClash in front of a full Gabba or Metricon.

They were already bitching so now we can get on with giving them something to bitch about.

Is there a way we could collectively send a thank you to Tony, Mark and the administration for their work in battling for our club? It's ****ing thankless work they do, well paid or not.

James Brayshaw IQ = 4

I hope we use our Darwin access to pick up Malcolm Rosas Jr, really rate that kid.

probably a good chance the rookie list was being cleared weeks ago unfortunately to the likes of scheer but new opportunities to rosa's, Gore and the other academy boys who can now walk straight onto an AFL list.

The ability to prelist Academy players is a bigger deal than it sounds to most IMO. It's essentially an extra first rounder we get with Davies projecting to be in that round next year.

Hugh Greenwood will play for Gold Coast next year.
Foxfooty.com.au understands the out of contract Crow will sign a three-year deal with a simple games trigger for a fourth season.
The 27-year-old has played 51 games since debuting in 2017.
Adelaide is aware of Greenwood’s desire to join the Suns and will seek adequate trade compensation in October. It’s believed they will not settle for a late pick.

Greenwood wanted a long-term deal at the Crows but the club was not willing to offer any more than two years.
It’s understood his salary at the Suns will be between $350,00-$400,000 per year, plus incentives.
Greenwood has been away on a holiday in the United States and will return in the next 24 hours to Adelaide, where he will meet with his manager Michael Oates.
Greenwood’s certain is part of the Crows’ wider list overhaul, which is undergoing a transformation to bring down its age profile.

Alex Keath has requested a trade to the Western Bulldogs, while Sam Jacobs will join GWS. Cam Ellis-Yolmen will play for Brisbane next season and Eddie Betts appears likely to be traded to Carlton.
Adelaide is focusing on the draft and will ask for pick 1 from Gold Coast if Brad Crouch requested a trade to the Suns.
Gold Coast holds picks 1, 2, 15, 20, 56 and 75 in this year’s draft.

I ran into one of Brad's old GC junior coaches the other day
Said he was a prodigy here on the Coast- so far ahead of any other kid at his stage of development
Not sure what that says about junior footy here on the Coast and /or Brad
