Yes the media bandwagon jump on this 3 millions over 5 years - who the **** knows if thats correct.
Just like Cameron said the reported contract figures re: Brad Crouch were inaccurate.

Rosas is definitely quick. I've done a little research into his background and it looks like his father (presumably Malcolm Rosas Sr) is in fact a Queenslander of South Sea Islander heritage and his mother is of Indigenous Australian heritage from the Central Arnhem Land area of the NT. He is also the grandson of WA/NT football royalty Bill Dempsey. Another grandfather of his (Raymond Cummings) also played football in the NT.

So he certainly has good bloodlines when it comes to football and I like the Queensland link he has through his father. We know Matt Rowell also has a father from Queensland so this could become a bit of a trend for us. Even Jez McLennan's father is a Queenslander if I'm not mistaken.

Rosas and Rankine is each forward pocket, King, Day, Sexton and Ainsworth as well. That’s a good forward line
Forward pressure immense.
Greenwood floating forward too for an odd contested mark.?

And this is why Adelaide would be stupid not to take a deal from us this year for Brad Crouch.

Crows fans think they know what they will get for Crouch if he leaves next year under free agency but I wouldn’t put it passed the afl to screw the crows over if they don’t work with us this year

I wouldn’t have thought 3 million over 5 years wasn’t too much for a middle of the road afl player anyway?

Do we see Budarick playing as a half back flanker/back pocket player early on to adjust to the rigours of AFL footy before hopefully moving him to the midfield later in his career? I think we could definitely use his speed back there as Harbrow and Hanley begin to slow down.

If budarick makes it as a midfielder in the AFL he will have done very very well.
Not a bad potential harbrow replacement. A lot of quite short small forwards and he could match their pace.

Best case scenario would see him develop into a quicker version of a small mid in the mould of Dayne Zorko... but that's probably unlikely. I'm just wondering how we can best use him given the ageing players we have in our backline. His speed is obviously a big strength he possesses but I feel you need more than that to really make it as a small forward these days. He certainly won't be able to match the skills of small forwards like Izak Rankine so it could be hard to crack a spot in our forward line next year.

I think I'd start Connor on the half back line and see how he goes. He was named as an U18 AA defender this year after all.

I'm going out on a limb and will say he won't play more than a handful of games next year. If you are that size you need elite skills and elite pace.

Heard mixed reports about Bray. Himself and family both have said that he wants to be around for future success. But some pretty reliable people at the club have mentioned he is a little bitter about the amount of official leadership he has been given? Maybe he was gunning for VC?

eppo67 heard much along these lines? Represents the SUNS with a lot of heart and is a terrific bloke. Would be a crying shame to lose him

A true leader doesn't worry about a title.
He should continue doing what he does well and he will receive just rewards.

Harbrow won't be around long, Miller may be borderline best 22 who knows what happens with their voting this season.
Lets remember that before this year Brayden had played 26 games, and never more than 13 in a season.
Game day leadership would be held in high esteem - he's had a chance to prove that this year, not really prior to that.

I do know from speaking with him that he has a lot of real passion for the club. Real Dave Swallow like. Hopefully the people higher up are worrying over nothing. Maybe he is giving himself a chance for an A grade breakout next year before a bigger extension. Fair play to him if that is the case!

I was typing up the same thing before you said that.

Maybe Ben and Max dad. Gonna sign him up so that we can lure Max haha
haha,
I thought it was pretty obvious you were talking about Fiorini, carrying on from the conversation above!
