Yeah I'm hearing you.

We all come into this thread to voice our ideas on how the club can get to where we all want us to be in the future..... But instead of that it's being hijacked by people who are still living in the past and dwelling over the 09/10/11 seasons.
Wake up guys we all felt the same pain as you being Saints supporters we got very close to our goal but we didn't so move on because when we do achieve that goal we will all look back on those years as a crucial stepping stone.

You can't change the past.... But you can always change a future.

Ben to me always looked much stronger through the core and less leggy in his movement and running actions. I understand Max was flying until his injury but it is exactly that which worries me. Could we afford the risk after taking Paddy @ 1 who had failed and then taking another huge risk @ 4 in the draft on a severely injured gangly kid?

It really worries me that with his body he is going to be another huge bust?

And sundays injury was because he got tunnelled. Exactly the same sort of thing that happened to Lonie. Just an accident not anything else.
He’s not Alex Johnson or Dan Menzel who’s bodies just can’t cope with lateral movement

Give it 3-4 seasons mate. And if he’s still injury prone then have a meltdown

GWS would definitely not want to lose Coniglio. That being said if he chose us there’s no way they could match the offer.

Selling the team to him and the potential for a flag would be the hardest part, and the their Melbourne clubs will come calling as well.

King did do his ACL before the draft allowing us to snatch him on the cheap and many players have and to tell you the truth it could be a blessing because it will allow him to strengthen more , just unlucky he hurt him self again before playing his first game for us - but next year he will be stronger and better and with a fit squad he will develop fast.
