So this might look familiar but it's actually a new spreadsheet, built to hopefully make it easier to update during the draft.

Going to do the best I can, hopefully it doesn't break. 🤞🤞🤞

Another year where dodo doesn't get in a big body mid and instead goes for talls and another skinny flanker. Crows recruiting looks spotty once again.
We are going for a multi year rebuild. Will finish bottom 2 next year and have a crack at some mids in a stronger draft loaded with midfielders

I suspect Covid really didn't help the Tasmanian guys since they get noticed in the Allies team, and since there was no Allies team there was no way for them to be noticed.

They played TSL all year which every game was lived streamed

I'm sure there is another skinny flanker to be had next year
No doubt but need to start somewhere.
Talls traditionally take longer to develop and not all will make it but if half of tonight’s draftees come good in 3-4 years time we at least have a foundation. Next years draft we need to hit the mids and who knows what can happen. Anything is better than going down the same path year after year

No its because Tasmania doesn't have a team. How many players just got drafted by their local afl team who will never play a game that are way worse statistically than say Callow? If Tassie had a team, Collins, Davis, and Callow probably would get taken. Not saying they would be like brownlow medallist and 200 game players, but they'd be drafted. I think Callow could be a Mihocek and needs to leave Tassie to show how good he is.

How did Adelaide have such a strong draft hand and come out with a "meh" draft haul?

I think you’re basing that off “rankings” from the draft coverage and the bigger names. Pedlar seems the smelly one but could end up being a masterstroke. Plus they only took SA boys didn’t they? Won’t know until next year. They certainly can’t afford an average draft.

GWS are just asking for these players to request a trade in 2 years. It is like they are looking for the players most likely to want to go home.

We needed a key back, Chapman is on the board and we get cute and completely miss out. Now we have Davis (on one leg) Keeffe (please) and Idun as our saviours. Bruhn (whom I like) looked like he had walked in on his mate rogering his missus when his name was read out. Angwin....really...Angwin.

Did these guys smoke rocks the night before?

Perkins seems risky af for Bombers when Bruhn was sitting there.

Maybe but can't complain with the way they structured those three picks. The bookends and a dynamic HF/mid in Perkins. thought they may have gone a genuine inside somewhere though

Amazing job by Ned Guy, 5 players brought in with potential and most importantly on rookie contracts.

Perkins aint the one with knee issues... besides a F2nd will get us Bruhn in 2 years time anyway.

Spot the guy who is already planning on requesting a trade
