We'll get the Suns or Port away I'd imagine. First trip interstate for us in round 1 that I can remember (Not that I mind at all, think its good to get at least one trip out of the way early).

Saints will play at Darwin after the bye most likely - since we are scheduled to play port in China round 11, followed by Gold Coast in NT round 13, with the bye in between.

Wait a second that's actually E - there's one more thing that's more likely at D) St Kilda wins the flag next season.D) Fremantle are scheduled to play away games in both Round 1 and 2.

Start???How long before the cry babies in here start whinging about Richmond's draw?
This, it’s more conceivable they do something like schedule both WA sides to play at home to the start the season (as in have 2 games in Perth that weekend), and try and use the derby to ‘catch up’ on how it should be.Wait a second that's actually E - there's one more thing that's more likely at D) St Kilda wins the flag next season.
Seriously, they have NEVER drawn the WA sides away from home in consecutive weeks - never have and never will.
Half this thread seems to be Richmond fans complaining about people complaining about Richmond’s draw. How long before the cry babies in here start whinging about Richmond's draw?
No idea. Usually we have round one in full by now - I think because of the AFLW CBA, it delayed the leaks of the fixture for the men because they weren't sure what was happening with the women. The drip feeding today has been fairly steady so I daresay if they don't release it today we should have the full round one fixture by tomorrow morning. Are they releasing R1 seperate or just all the fixture at once. If they release R1 seperate when will it be?
The only thing I can ever remember happening was a few years ago both WA sides played away in the same round (it was around the same time as the Byes I think) but they didn't play consecutive games away or at home - again maybe either side of the bye might have happened before. This, it’s more conceivable they do something like schedule both WA sides to play at home to the start the season (as in have 2 games in Perth that weekend), and try and use the derby to ‘catch up’ on how it should be.
First interstate trip for MFC since 1998.We'll get the Suns or Port away I'd imagine. First trip interstate for us in round 1 that I can remember (Not that I mind at all, think its good to get at least one trip out of the way early).
Thursday, Mar 19 STADIUM (NETWORK) EST LOCALFull Fixture for Round 1 is out.
I dislike it too. I don’t understand why Collingwood is so often fixtures there because we don’t have any marquee games with themI'm just sick to death of playing the same teams in rounds 1 and 2, it will be 4 out of 5 years we have started with these two teams. It's boring.
It's not but if it makes you feel better to type this to get a few likes knock yourself outHalf this thread seems to be Richmond fans complaining about people complaining about Richmond’s draw.
GC vs Port is the only potentially uninteresting game. Even then, GC are usually good early on. The rest are pretty goodObviously trying for the "most boring Saturday of footy for the year". Gone early but well done AFL, you win.

Most likely. So Carlton V Hawthorn @ Marvel for round 2? Otherwise someone is playing 2 interstate matches to start the year.
