2020 AFL fixture released

We'll get the Suns or Port away I'd imagine. First trip interstate for us in round 1 that I can remember (Not that I mind at all, think its good to get at least one trip out of the way early).

Saints will play at Darwin after the bye most likely - since we are scheduled to play port in China round 11, followed by Gold Coast in NT round 13, with the bye in between.

Woo. Loving the club getting up to Darwin. Considering the AFL has to fixture ANZAC day on a Saturday do you reckon they would send us to Wellington again, we could play Sydney in the pride game.

This, it’s more conceivable they do something like schedule both WA sides to play at home to the start the season (as in have 2 games in Perth that weekend), and try and use the derby to ‘catch up’ on how it should be.

No idea. Usually we have round one in full by now - I think because of the AFLW CBA, it delayed the leaks of the fixture for the men because they weren't sure what was happening with the women. The drip feeding today has been fairly steady so I daresay if they don't release it today we should have the full round one fixture by tomorrow morning.

The only thing I can ever remember happening was a few years ago both WA sides played away in the same round (it was around the same time as the Byes I think) but they didn't play consecutive games away or at home - again maybe either side of the bye might have happened before.

Can anyone recall the NRL and AFL draw being released in the same week? They are normally miles apart.

I dislike it too. I don’t understand why Collingwood is so often fixtures there because we don’t have any marquee games with them

GC vs Port is the only potentially uninteresting game. Even then, GC are usually good early on. The rest are pretty good
