Even if Adelaide and North somehow don't take McDonald, doubtful he gets past the swans. They want a tall and Logan is the best in the pool.

Even though I'm sceptical that McDonald makes it to our pick (can't see Sydney passing on him) Twomey is usually fairly accurate in the top 10. Having DGB or Phillips to pick from is still an exciting prospect.

Downie bid at 25 is also unfortunate but Maginness was bid on later than expected so I wouldn't be surprised to see a bid come after our second pick.

He's also got my hopes up for McDonald which is just cruel.

I have long been convinced McDonald is the only guy who won't be available. I would be staggered if 3 clubs overlooked a key forward with those performances on the board.

Twomey has Perkins sliding to 16 and a Downie bid from Saints at 25, which would be before our actual pick.

Twomey is usually on the money, but this one seems much more speculative than other years. I'd be over the moon if he's right about McDonald

This basically wiped out the credibility (after McDonald falling to P5??) for Twomey's 2020 Phantom Draft. Pies not matching is just ridiculous.

He's clearly not being fed much intel, and you can't blame him i guess with Covid etc etc
