Hard pass. Fantasia wants to go back to Adelaide anyway. And I don’t think we need him or should want him.

I can’t see 7 going to *. It might go to Geelong or someone else with multiple 1sts, one of which (or an early 2nd or whatever) could go to * for Saad, but no way should that pick 7 head to windy hill.

I actually hope that pick 7 goes to * because that should mean we are getting Merrett [emoji6]

For example?
Last few pages.......Higgins, Shaw, macadam, I’m not really into Saad either.
Then youngsters who haven’t really played like O’Halloran, why is someone else’s new kids better than ours.
Don’t forget kemp, stocker, Charlie, to come back.
Also u need to get rid of players when all the shiny new toys come in.....who u dumping?

Regular rumours of late wanting Saad, Oliver, Williams and Witherden.

Turn pick 7 into 15 & 16, 15 to * for Saad, 16 and 2021 1st for Oliver, future 2nd for Witherden.

Rnd 1 2021:
B: Plowman, Jones, Witherden
HB: Docherty, Weitering, Saad
C: Walsh, Cripps, Williamson
HF: Martin, C. Curnow, Fisher
F: Betts, McKay, Casboult
R: TDK, Oliver, Williams
INT: Murphy, E. Curnow, SPS, Setterfield

That's a top 4 side....

No Setterfield?

LOL Hardly surprising , Higgins was not expected to play any games this year and had no vision after the operation and expected recovery was 6-12 months
He has done extremely well to even get on the ground to train.

He had virtually no pre season and limited training until after the games re commenced and yet has still managed to play 10 games and was on the cusp of reselection until he got injured in the scratch match after kicking 3 goals in a half.

Kid will be fine next season and lives breaths football
We'll let's get him in and give him a shot.
Otherwise I'm gonna put my hand up for a forward pocket spot as we have SFA else.
Eddie is done. He fell over collecting the ball more times this year than my 3 year old does.
Love Eddie, but needs to play in suction cups instead of boots.

Higgins for me would constitute an astute pick. If he is medically fit, he would be on top of my priorities ahead of Saad. We would be negligent if we didnt make enquiries. He is exactly the player we lack in our forward 50. Saad would be nice but we shouldnt let that trade dominate our time and effort as we haveoptions within our list if we are prepared to give them a chance

To be fair, he looked a good player at Adelaide.
That's because he would get the 5th or 6th defender and Adelaide in 2017 had one of the best forward set-ups.

Cameron Lynch McGovern
Betts Walker Jenkins
With Douglas rotating through.

In the last 2 years McGovern, Curnow and McKay have barely played together. If we could get our best playing. Would be a great help.

Martin Curnow McGovern
Betts McKay TDK/Casboult
With either Gibbons or Cuningham rotating through.

But I'll rather see

Martin TDK Curnow
*Betts McKay JSOS
With either Gibbons or Cuningham rotating through. *or Betts replacement.

McGovern is an icing player but imo doesn't work hard enough. But has a lot of potential and needs a big summer and we should look at how we use him. IMO if he could work on his tank, he could play a bit inside and float forward similar to Stringer and be a bit more dangerous and hard to match up on.

I'd rather:

Martin McKay SPS
Fisher Curnow McGovern

TDK in the ruck and Murph/Betts/Gibbons/Honey/traded-in-small-forward making up the 7 forward rotation.

Kennedy & McGovern both have ability, the question is whether they have the desire to consistently put in the hard work required.
Fingers crossed that they can figure it out.

Connor Rozee 8 touches big game player

Not many touches but he does always looks dangerous.
He then seems to be twice as dangerous for the amount of times the commentators drop his name.
If I only listened to the commentary last night without the vision, I would have said Rozee gained around 25 possessions.

Long, long shot but if we somehow reeled in Saad, along with Papley having a change of mind and having already secured Williams.......it would make our best haul ever and have us hit three bulls-eyes given our list.
