Scroll to the 2.07.00 minute mark and watch the Port faithful leave in droves with 12 minutes to go. Better still, go back a few minutes prior to watch some Bagshaw and Sturt brilliance.
They were actually leaving minutes before this but that camera shot of the car park is glorious.

Still my favourite GF

Was lucky enough to play in the ressies GF when they were bringing people around the boundary
Was in the crowd when the announcer asked everyone to stand up and take a step to the left so they could fit more people in. We all did as we were told but I could never work out the maths for that one.

My dad tells me the same thing back in 71,72 GF, seeing all these port fans disappear in droves.

What a beautifully balanced player Bagshaw was.

And along with Bobby Shearman and Russel Ebert two of the finest exponents of the long forgotten "droppy" to ever grace the game...

that kick at 2.15 - it almost looks like a mis-kick but maybe that's the camera work - but otherwise a perfect kick to a leading forward

surely a drop punt is easier to execute than a drop kick though? I dunno

What about the Bobby Shearman set shot 65 metre droppy goal near the end....perfection.

Was too young too see Shearman play. Bagshaw used the nail the odd drop kick at Unley Oval in his last couple of seasons. The crowd would erupt

Robert Oatey was a great exponent as well
I'll tell you else were pretty good too in their heydey , both wingmen Malcolm Whitford [Roosters/Panthers] and Bryan Ploenges [Panthers], still reckon the droppy and stab pass are the most accurate kick if the players are in the clear.

Probably don't even know how to do a drop kick at all

realistically a drop kick isn't even allowed anymore.

A few times I've seen a player do what traditionally would be considered a drop kick (by accident because they're in the middle of being tackled) and the umpires have called it as incorrect disposal.

I reckon Jammo did one in his last game (from memory it was also the last game blight coached at FP)
