Goodwin would be an improvement on Godden surely. How could he be worse? Godden is the Mark Neeld of midfield coaches.

Was there some bad blood over the Dean Bailey thing?

Can't explain why they always come out looking like a team possessed against us.
Nah mate. Crows sucking against Melbourne goes all the way back to the 90's.

Neil Craig once said that you should always bomb it long, so it has to work.

Proverb probably said by Goodwin.

I find it interesting that Neil Craig was lauded for the culture and philosophies that he brought to the club at the time he was coach, but none of his 'disciples' look to have had successful coaching careers.

For anyone interested in the deep analytics of the game, following Rob Harding on Twitter. Used to be an opposition analyst at four different clubs (including ours at one point) and has a great understanding of the game. Also does live tweeting during some games analyzing the different setups and plays.

He’s on SEN at some stage too I think

I've been wishing he'd do one of our games, but haven't seen any coverage about us yet.

I think Neil Craig at Adelaide was a bit of a one-trick pony who was there at the right time. Definitely saw how the AFL would go with a highly disciplined game, but the second that got worked out, he just had no answers.

Definitely has been overrated in our four walls, especially his later ideas.
